How do you input AR codes into an R4? I can get as far as creating the usrcheat.dat file, but the R4 doesn't recognize it.
 
Quaziz, it means Same Type Attack Bonus or what trade said. It also gives you a 1.5 (or 150%) boost in an attack you're using. Example:

Zapdos used Thunder. Since Zapdos is an electric Pokemon, and Thunder is an electric attack, Thunder is given a 50% boost, STAB. So instead of 120 BP, its 190 BP.

Gyrados used Thunder. Gyrados is a water type, and Thunder is an electric move. Thunder is the normal 120 BP when used by Gyrados.

If you have a ditto with perfect IVs in attack and speed does the bred poke automatically get those IVs?

ex:LIke If I breed the ditto and a lucario will the riolu come out with perfect IVs in atk and speed? If its not guaranteed what are the chances?

Still looking for an answer to my question:

Looking for a good Sub/Calm Mind Mismagius counter that doesn't take too much damage from Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, or HP Fighting. Can anyone help me?

...then i used it on a phanpy and it wasn't super effective

That would be 180 BP.


Ok I have two questions. I have an Adamant Dugtrio. If I go Choice Band, it can OHKO Tyrannitar, but it can't outspeed Infernape. If I use Choice Scarf, it can do a respectable 70-80% to Tyrannitar as well as OHKO Infernape and Electivire.

I do not have a Jolly Ditto. So my only option is Adamant.

Choice Scarf -
Outspeeds Motor Drive Electivire (OHKOs)
Outspeeds + Speed nature Infernape (OHKOs)
Outspeeds CS Heracross (89%-104% with Aerial Ace)
Mutilates Tyrannitar, but does not OHKO
Outspeeds and OHKOs Lucario
Pecker-slaps Choice Scarf Heatran

Choice Band -
Outspeeds (duh) and OHKOs Tyrannitar
2HKOs Blissey

Choice Scarf can do many of the things Choice Band can do. I do not have a Blissey problem, so 2HKOing it may be unnessesary. Same goes for Tyrannitar, which it can trap and destroy. Choice Scarf will also leave some free speed EVs that can be put in its defenses.

You know, I think I just answered my own question. BUT, now I need to know which poke to remove.

I think i'll remove Steelix... The rest of my team covers what he covers, and the offensive power given by Dugtrio is huge.

Good idea? Not really a simple question...
