Not sure if this is quote-unquote "cute", but I did have a lot of fun working on it! If Merritt doesn't want to use it because i kinda ignored the art direction and went for a Halloween-themed spoopy thing, i'd completely understand

Art Direction: hey! We are planning to make PS! Staff Interviews a thing again, and I was wondering if there was a way for those to get an art to illustrate them a little bit. I don't have any real, mandatory direction to give as long as its something which you can relate to the concept of interviewing/discussing more than just one random Pokémon and a "ps staff interviews" banner below. It's all up to you! For the record, I think I'll be using PMD DS sprites to represent staff members in interviews.

Art Direction: Maybe something around Sandaconda? Could use other snake pokemon as well, but not a ton are viable in NU aside from Sandaconda. Artist can pick.

I know for tournaments its supposed to be up before signups; but we decided on this tour just a couple days ago, and since player signups arent up yet I figured there is enough time for the artist to still get all the exposure.

Art Direction: Simple art with Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde (from left to right, but artist is free to change the order depending on what they think looks nicer) and "Anything Goes" written in the middle.

Hello, I plan to restart an rmt project, rating practice teams sometime into crown tundra release. I would appreciate it if the project name 'Rating Practice Teams' could be text in the art. As for the direction, can you like to make the Pokemon like a headshot of Urshifu-S and Urshifu-R standing back to back with the backdrop being the storm badge (aka rmt's badge)!

Hi, I would like to request another piece of art for 'Monotype Sample Teams: Crown Tundra.' I do not know when I will post the thread, but I figure asking for art sooner than later is safer. For this piece, can the artist draw the Galarian Birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres with the background being recognizably related to the Crown Tundra!

Art Direction: I know this is a bit of a different request and it takes a fairly specific piece to fit well into the small server icon space, I just think any artist piece would be drastically more interesting than just slapping on a new shuffle sprite or something. All I envision is it's one mon that represents PU, similar to a bunch of other Smogon servers (https://puu.sh/GL0Gm/cc4d8a3394.png Ubers, RU, LC, ZU, and NatDex for example). As for the mon I think Throh, Kangaskhan, Appletun, Alcremie, or Drifblim would be some good choices.

Ideally, the words "Core Ladder Challenge" or some variant on them would be visible. I think it would be kinda neat if one or all of the Pokemon were climbing a ladder, although this is by no means mandatory. Thanks!

Projected Deadline (Sign-Up thread goes live): Hoping to post manager signups as soon as possible. The player signups would go up on the 7th of December (very sorry for the short notice!). I hope this is okay, since others appear to have done it.
Art Direction: I like the RBY PL logo so I was thinking something at least somewhat similar would be good, i.e. having at least one Pokemon that represents each tier that will be in the tournament. As for the Pokemon that represent the different tiers, Snorlax for OU seems mandatory despite it not being a gen 2 Pokemon. Lugia seems appropriate for Ubers but would also be okay with Ho-Oh, one of Granbull / Nidoqueen / Scyther for UU, and Xatu seems like the obvious choice for NU. If any of those are too uninspiring let me know and I can suggest other Pokemon. I don't mind if it is done in a retro style or not. The text "GSC PL" or "GSC Premier League" should appear prominently.

Thanks so much for offering this kind of service, I love everyone's work and I look forward to seeing what comes of this request!

Art Direction: Honestly, anything that makes sense, but here are some optional criteria you may wish to fulfill just out of my head - please don't add everything; these are just ideas that can stimulate your art plan :).
  • Maybe include Mr. Mime-Galar and Lycanroc-Midnight (those are the first two weeks of prompts so hey)
  • A star could be symbolic of "up and coming"
  • Pokemon scrolling through their moveset?
  • A pokemon using an unorthodox move in their set? (e.g Flareon using Shadow Ball)
  • Mandatory: All pokemon included must be PU, ZU and NFE, and preferably viable to some extent - if you are unsure, please feel free to ask me (PS: BulbaBrain, Discord: BulbaBrain#8045)
