Hello, my children :afrostar:

I've found that in today's busy world, few make time to go to sit down and think what their purpose is here in Smogoff, so I'm bringing the conclusion to you. Ask me what your niche is and I shall bring you the clarity that you seek.

I ask only for your honesty. You wouldn't bullshit a mod, so don't bullshit me.

I can guarantee you I will not share anything you post in this thread with others. I am merely a medium between you and the way, and I assure you that even I probably won't remember what you post or what you've posted in the past. Your niche curiosity is safe here with me.

So, kids, what niche do you think you have?

Yes, I see all and what I see in your statement is true. Total Clefiary you are a one-of-a-kind user. You started off the 2016 posting season with a bang totaling a 5.67 FER (Fire*** Efficiency Rating) during the first 3.5 hours. Since then you have remained one of the greatest like posters on the forum. I humbly accept that your Niche is that you're an all-around great guy who is funny and cool. Carry on young one.

Young War Incarnate, you have solidified your niche as a potential COPPA dodger. You sit in this category with other current users in this forum. I truly believe that you have great posting potential but it is up to you to take a soul-searching journey and venture out into the woods and drink the blood of your spirit animal to fulfill your posting destiny. I cannot tell you what your spirit animal is but you will know once you find it.

Zeefable, you have made waves in the overall Smogon community. This is evident due to the badges you have obtained through your hard work in other communities. While I do not have an extensive history of you as a user, your first few posts in smogoff have been welcome. Your stickied thread is welcomed and something that was needed in order to educate the masses. You have the current niche as a hopeful smogoff thread chef. What this means is that you have expertly crafted smogoff threads that are almost always in good taste. Carry on young Zeefable and keep adding the spices to perfect your dish.

I have known you for a brief period of time and have seen only the tip of the iceberg of what you're capable of. Your chef RP thread was a poor idea on paper but you masterfully executed it in a way that made it amazing. You have successfully shown to me that your potential is far greater than what I thought it was initially. Your niche assertion is almost completely correct, however, your high-quality posts are always great and something that smogoff as a whole appreciates. Your positive and negative attention is something you should be thriving off of as it is what helps cultivate a great subforum.

Young Snessy! you have successfully created a niche for yourself that I am sure Kris would dislike immensely. When you first started in smogoff I viewed you as a hopeful great poster, however, you quickly flushed this down the drain. I will offer you the same advice as I offered young War Incarnate. Go soul searching and find out who you are as a poster and what you could be as a poster. Smogoff is the place for many different kinds of posts, however, you fail to be unique in your posts and this is what smogoff craves.

In all honesty, your history is very cloudy. I cannot see who you are as a poster potentially because you have not made yourself known to the community. This is a fairly common niche for some posters and that may be hard to recognize. I would identify you as one of the many smogoff lurkers. You post occasionally here or there but it is never enough to solidify your presence as a poster. I have great hope for you, as I know you wish you to be much more than you are. While yes, your niche does mostly encompass this old and frankly unfunny Reddit meme, you somehow make it work for yourself. Unfortunately, you overuse this and it has become more of a burden to your character. There are some times when you have posted the meme and it has genuinely made me exhale air from my nose but more often than not it is overwhelmingly dry. You must read the situation and post this meme when it is right to do so. You cannot let this be who you are entirely as a poster. Businesses with only one selling point will always fade into obscurity. I hope that this does not happen to you and I wish you the best of luck young one.

Fusion Flare, I quite like you. You are currently stuck in purgatory between the hopeful poster and full-on smogoff posting commoner. This is very unique and I have only seen a few cases of it in my many years. While yes Tangrowth does encompass your character a little, I still think there is much more to you than just that fat blue bastard. You are a unique poster and I have no further advice to give you at this time other than to figure out who you are as a poster not just as a pokemon. Peace be with you, my fat blue friend.
 
Can I choose a different niche from my first one?

If so, I'd like to say my niche is being the kind of guy to appreciate Lego's CCBS (Character Creature Building System) more than the Lego Bricks I think most of us have come to know and like

Your Smogoff debut was one of great promise. Your romhack thread is one that I would have put into greatest hits due to the many replies. Despite this, you have fallen into the same potential COPPA dodger category as War Incarnate. I believe you are much deeper into this niche than they are, however. You are not weird nor unpredictable which is a good thing in a certain sense. I think you could easily rectify your situation by lurking more and understanding what it means to possess the power of a smogoff poster. With this knowledge, I believe you could achieve some decent quality threads in Smogoff.

Regarding posting this goes for both War Incarnate and Snessy! as well, not everything needs a reply. Do not add to something that does not need to be added to. Best of luck young one and I wish you the best in your endeavors.
