The elo system seems to be bugged in a way. In this replay I am shown as being higher than I am when I check with /rank.

I don't know why it used an elo so different from the one my /rank shows because I think that one is more up to date.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - OTHER pokeblade101 suggests this is due to a lot of decay in between battles or something (DaWoblefet)

The interaction of Illusion in doubles (potentially with two Pokemon of identical species?) causes a couple client-side bugs:

  • If you click "Skip Turns" after turn 1, the left slot Eleki moves to the right slot and overlaps the other slot. This happens from the perspective of both players.

  • Regardless of whether or not you skip turns, on turn 4, the client claims that the fainted Regieleki is withdrawn when being replaced by Eternamax, and plays the switching out animation.

In this game, I dynamaxed a Zygarde 50% on turn 22. It turned into Zygarde complete at the end of turn 22. It returned to normal at the end of turn 24. However, the sprite on the screen still showed Dynamax Zygarde complete until the game ended on turn 26.

I think this is a bug, although it didn't seem to affect gameplay, just the sprite.

/ms# or /ms mod=gen# doesn't check for the legality of moves in that specific generation when displaying movesets.

When Ditto (Or a Pokemon with Imposter) transforms into an opposing Pokemon with the move Hidden Power, it becomes Hidden Power Dragon regardless of the opponent's type. When Mew (Or a Pokemon with Transform) transforms into a pokemon with Hidden Power, it becomes Hidden Power Dark.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, The type hidden power becomes when Ditto transforms into a pokemon is dependent on the Ditto's IVs, not the opponent's IVs. You can choose your Ditto's Hidden power type by clicking on "details" beside the pokemon sprite in the teambuilder then selecting the hidden power type. (Dawn of Ares)

The Rotom forms in Gen 4 and 5 have some bugs.
According to Bulbapedia, the Rotom appliances immediately transform back into base Rotom as soon as it forgets its associated move.
This means that the forms are impossible to exist if they do not have their moves.
Currently, the validator allows Rotom forms to be used without having their special move in their moveset.


Update: Found another bug. In Gen 5, in both BW and BW2, its possible to obtain a blue stripe Basculin with Reckless, yet the validator does not allow it to have it.

I tested the Rotom thing in gen 4, and that's not true. Rotom will not transform if you don't teach it the move upon changing the form initially, but it will keep the form if you delete the move via the move deleter.

In Gen 5 formats, Braviary and Mandibuzz are unable to be used unless they're level 54 or higher due to that being their evolution level. However, there is a static encounter in Black and White 2 that allows either of the two to be captured at level 25, and thus, they should be allowed to be used at level 25 or higher. Also despite the screenshot I did try using their hidden abilities instead, it did not work.

Edit: I forgot to mention the level 35 Volcarona in Relic Castle in my first draft. That also has the same issue as these two Pokemon.

+2 252+ SpA Musharna Future Sight vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Unaware Pyukumuku: 150-177 (47.9 - 56.5%) -- 30.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
(sets were revealed on turns 18 and 20)
this is the calc that should happen, but it seems that Future Sight is ignoring unaware fsr.

If you went to the teambuilder, select [Gen 7] AG as the format, it redirects to a link like this for example on clicking (Smogon analysis) in the export/import of a Pokemon:

The "ag" added to "rayquaza-mega" seems to be messing the page which is redirected from the teambuilder.

In Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, Sunflora learns Petal Dance at Level 28
However, if you try and enter a level 28 Sunflora with Petal Dance into a Gen 5 Game (NU and up, where it is legal), it is banned, saying "Rott (Sunflora)'s move Petal Dance is learned at level 37".
However, In Black and White, Sunflora learns Petal Dance at 33
and if you put a level 33 Sunflora with Petal Dance into a Gen 5 Game, it is perfectly fine with it.

Coaching doesn’t show as having the Bypasses Protect flag when you /dt it (but does appear when doing /ms fighting, !protect and the longdesc has the flag)

Not Sure whether this is a Bug, but this Elo Difference matchmaking should not happen at this Ladder Range, even if it happens, the Gap is way too much. Also at the same time many other OU battles was going on as well.

I've been seeing this visual bug for a while and finally managed to get a screenshot. Basically, if a pokemon changes forms during dynamax, it doesn't become small again if you hit next turn/skip turn before the game can say the "([pokemon] returned to normal!)" text.

On turn 10, if you click skip turn before the text comes up you'll see "dynamaxed" zygarde using outrage.

I was playing a gen 4 inverse ranbats roomtour and HOW DARE U GUYS DISRESPECT UNOWN THE MIGHTY GOD, IT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE ITS SPRITE.
(I forgot to save the replay pls don't cancel me.

And i think i know why, it's probably because the unown form was not A, so the programmers did not put in its sprite.

Yo. The mega sabelye has shown to be focus sash. The explanation i can think of was that zoroark was disguised as mega sabelye and has sash so ig that i am not entirely sure if thats correct or no.
I leaved the battle accidently so no replay will post if i get that somehow :(
