SPOILERS! Pokemon Legends: Arceus *Leak Thread*

The new forms of dialga and palkia look like someone put a horse in The Sims character creator and saw just what the fuck they could do without the game crashing.
I wonder if it’s a reference that Arceus being based on a horse? It’s Platinum sprite and animations in the 3DS games look like a horse’s movements. Are the forms like Mega Evolution or something similar to Giratina btw?

Anyway, surprising that the Porygon line made it in. They weren’t to made until the events of RB, but I guess that’s proof that GF does not care for timelines.

PoryLeeks
  • First notable leaker to showcase real data. His contribution was yesterday's Discord stream.
  • Currently crying into his pillow for undisclosed reasons.
  • May have been abetting something shady. May have been approached by Nintendo ninjas or scared into believing they're onto him.
  • Really regrets watermarking all of his footage, which lends some credence to the latter theory. No telling if he'll resume tomorrow.

And as the dust settles, we still don't have any new Pokémon confirmed. The wait for the dump is going to be tense.
In meta news, quite a bit has happened since then.

Poryleeks got copyright struck on their images from Latte Leaker 1 and deleted the tweets.

Poryleeks claims that they don't have the game files, but apparently this whole Google Drive image dump came from poryleeks internally and was intended to be an exclusive, and was ironically leaked out of there by an original member who wanted everything to go public and they were the ones to upload it to Google Drive, so now the future of leaks is uncertain again. Hopefully the classic dataminers get their hands in the game at some point.

EDIT:

I'm glad this guy may be actually doing something to get things public so this drama can be left behind. At the least even if it's fake, it's a nice gesture compared to poryleeks publically saying they won't dump the game and doing it anyway.

EDIT 2:
1643049136821.png

I'm taking it with a grain of salt until it's out there but I respect this guy for actually doing something if so and not just keeping everything to themselves. Also I wouldn't join the discord.

EDIT 3: In hindsight he was probably legitimate and leaked the dump out of poryleeks. Added screenshots to preserve the twitter thread. I think he is real because he posted screenshots of getting banned from poryleeks and there's a lot of further conversation in the replies.

So we have Hisuian ancient versions of the standard Poke Ball, the Great Ball, and the Ultra Ball. That does call into question about the rest of those Poke Balls though...what could they be?

Especially that one in the center that looks nothing like the rest.

There's a lot going on visually with these monstrosities so I'm just gonna take a minute to try and break down what exactly we're looking at.

Neo Palkia's hind legs bear clear resemblance to Palkia's legs, while the feathers at the top of its front legs suggest that they're linked to Palkia's arms. The ring around its torso resemble the ring around Arceus's torso, without the spikes. Its feathered tail has no obvious link to any part of Palkia's nor Arceus's design, but may be a reference to the stripes darting around Palkia's body.

Neo Dialga's hind legs more closely resemble Arceus, while the spines on its front knees I think are supposed to be the stripes on Dialga's legs. Its clawed forefeet resemble crude versions of Dialga's feet. The spikes on its torso draw from the spikes on Arceus's torso, without the ring. Finally, the most horrific design choice of all, that weird thing on its neck seems to become Dialga's torso, which begs the question of what Neo Dialga's torso is supposed to be.

It's also worth noting that while Palkia is top heavy and Dialga bottom heavy, Neo Palkia and Neo Dialga are the reverse.

They almost look like the midpoint of an Animorphs cover, or a Transformers toy that's been left halfway between robot and vehicle. It looks like the pieces of Dialga and Palkia have manifested onto Arceus's form, and they're in the process of sliding into place.

So no Arceus form? Or maybe it was not sourced yet?

I am looking forward for trainer models and, hopefully, trainer Teams:-)

Very curious about the plot. It's a bit sad only A-Vulpix was added as a regional form (when we could've had G-Ponyta, A-Golem and A-Raichu at least).

they're the Pokemon version of biblically accurate angels

that's why it hurts to look at their designs

My biggest grief with the new legendaries design: Why does neo-Palkia have a humanoid (centauroid?) torso and shoulder pads but no arms? It looks awfully "half-way". Arceus and Dialga both have long necks that remind us of real-life four-legged creatures such as llamas or giraffes, while what neo-Palkia has is unmistakably a human torso lacking arms.

Dialga's knee spikes are awfully ugly too. Like the neck tumor, they serve no practical purpose. Both of them look like half-formed monstrosities in extreme pain.

I know no Abilities exist, but H-Lilligant would be really promising if it keeps the same stats, gains Focus Blast, and the Ability in case of a possible transfer would be No Guard. With access to Quiver Dance of course. And make it learn Power Gem while I'm dreaming, okay? :D
I wouldn't be surprised if abilities are still listed in the code even if they're not used. Let's Go was similar, we knew Meltan/Melmetal's abilities beause of that.

Of course, Legends Arceus is a very different game, but may as well have it in the file anyway.

Honestly, I really like the desings
They all look ancient for me, it's accurate to the game story period. Something like imperial/samurais time.

The new geenie gave me "HIM" vibes, what a gay icon. Love it already.

Those legendaries tho... Weird, but awesome at the same time.

H-Qwilfish evo looks like an enemy you would face at some rareware game lol.

So... I caught sight of something concerning Volo adrift in the turmoil of /vp/.

It's big, if true, which at this point I don't doubt.

It only took 16 years and a boost from Masters(EX), but it looks like the Celestic villagers finally sealed the pact.
I'm going to predict that his other two Pokemon are H-Goodra and the H-Sneasel evo. They seem to replace Garchomp and Lucario and those mons work well as parallels (H-Goodra and Garchomp as Dragon pseudos and the H-Sneasel evo and Lucario as cool Fighting types)

Alternatively, if Giratina is the Garchomp replacement, I could see him having Basculegion as a Milotic parallel (feesh), but I also can't see him having three Ghost types lol

also this deconfirms the villain Kamado theory, since Volo is the one with Giratina

Didn’t Cynthia get a Sync pair with Giratina in Masters?

Was telling Volo is the big bad/final Boss from very beginning.

Possibly Kamodo controls Dialga and Palkia.

Cannot wait for Trainer models and Trainer Teams

Not necessarily. It's possible that Kamado tries to get Giratina and fails, and then Volo ends up with it in the end (somewhat to the climax of Platinum, just replace Cyrus with Kamado and Lucas/Dawn isn't there so Cynthia takes matters into her own hands). Alternatively, the whole color connection to Giratina was a coincidence and Giratina doesn't play a part in the villain plot at all, since despite its violent tendencies, Giratina is still ultimately a benevolent Pokemon.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. My theory right now is either Adaman and Iridia are the 'bad guys' (not intentionall evil but their squabbling causes Dialga and Palkia to go Biblically Accurate Angle mode and fuck shit up) or there's no real villain

or the new genie is the big bad because look at that fucker and tell me it doesn't want to cause problems on purpose with a straight face. That's right u can't. Literally the definition of be gay do crime

We have literally no context to Volo's battle so the presence of Giratina alone doesn't really...say anything, on villainy.

Volo could just be interested in a part of history that's so hidden away and just discovered & befriended Giratina for all we know.
