Hello,

On turn 2 my Runerigus does bulldoze in first (because of trick room) and apply a slow on my metagross and starmie.

I have invested no IV in speed on metagross, so starmie shouldn't be slower than Metagross.

But in this clip, it's not the case.

Maybe it's not a bug and it's just how pokemon showdown handle trick room, or turn of pokemon in general or maybe starmie has an item that i don't know.

Either way, thank you in advance for an answer.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Starmie was holding Iron Ball (DaWoblefet)

Bug with the friends feature.

If you have 6 outgoing friend requests already and try to send another, you get the message:
"You already have 6 outgoing friend requests. Use "/friends view sent" to see your outgoing requests."
However. If you have 6 incoming friend requests, you cannot send a friend request.
If you have 7 or more incoming friend requests, the same error is sent.
If you have 4 incoming friend requests and 2 outgoing friend requests, you cannot send another friend request.

Basically, if incoming+outgoing friend requests already equal 6 or more, you'll get an error and can't send an outgoing friend request

Nothing major, but when I was battling on the ADV CC ladder I realized that there was a visual bug that made it so the pokemon that I sent out had the same stats display as the one sent out before, being Hariyama.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen3challengecup-1664038693
I would venture a guess that this is due to Latios being sent out and Aggron dying the same turn, but I do believe that I have seen this in other gens where it doesn't update the stats screen correctly after the same or similar interactions happen.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (CLIENT), there are intermittent reports of this throughout the thread, but I've personally never been able to reproduce it (DaWoblefet)

Bug: in https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ you can get a replay to stack on top of each other, and the replay on the top can't be dismissed unless you reload the page.
To reproduce, mass click on a few replays and then spam click one that is highlighted.
Video showing this:

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - OTHER thanks for the video! (DaWoblefet)

Gen 3 Shedinja not validated, PS! states that Shedinja cannot get Gust and Silverwind from any possible father. Beautifly learns both (Gust Lvl 13, Silverwind Lvl 34) and can pass both down as egg moves to Nincada in Gen 3.

Got a two in one bug today:
First bug: Whenever renaming a subroomgroupchat, the message "Format gen8vgc2021series9 not found. Check spelling?" is displayed.
Second bug: Whenever renaming a subroomgroupchat to the same name as it was previously named to, it crashes the groupchat and you can't rejoin it.

Client shows incorrect speed stat from interaction of Unburden with Neutralizing Gas
Replay is from Randbats, Spectrier can only hold Leftovers and is slower than Unburdened Driflim, no TR or Tailwind or status is active.
1. Unburden activates on turn 22 in Neutralizing Gas (no change in speed stat)
2. Neutralizing Gas is removed on turn 27 when Weezing is KOed.
3. Speed stat is shown as having doubled, but opposing Spectrier (235 spe) is able to outspeed Drifblim (366 spe is shown on screen).
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8unratedrandombattle-1668446027

I am able to replicate the exact same behaviour here: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8ubers-1668463092
I do not know if Unburden should or should not activate (Battle Mechanics Research on page 1 says Unburden re-activates once Gas is removed, but does not state if Unburden was activated inside or outside Gas and if that affects this), but it certainly is showing the wrong speed stat

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (CLIENT) Unburden missed the timing to activate because Neutralizing Gas was active. It never should have shown the doubled Speed (DaWoblefet)

I saw this in Gen1 random battles. I cleared paralysis by using rest, and the status condition went but my speed stat remained halved. I couldn't find information online about whether this was the case in gen1 cartridges - but it does seem like a bug and was pretty frustrating to experience so I thought I would report anyway: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1randombattle-1668809206

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, in addition to Speed being quartered, not halved in Gen 1, see what King Neodude says below (DaWoblefet)

In generation 1, your speed stat remains lowered even after clearing paralysis with rest. This isn't a bug.

Hackmons Cup game, so there’s a very good chance I am missing something. On turn 20, Obstruct should have reduced the Raikou’s defense given what I know. It didn’t show protective pads or any ability prompt. I don’t know the ability or item of either mon, though Gallade’s were irrelevant to the scenario.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, the Raikou did in fact have Long Reach (DaWoblefet)

obstruct only lowers defense if the enemy makes contact, so raikou probably has protective pads or long reach
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8balancedhackmons-1668947085-p343ehduu1ip2zzfoieunult0bor6rppw - shows both negate the defense drop without revealing that they're present

Tuve una partida en Randoms double battles Sw/Sh y en un momento Arctovish usó Fishious rend en mi carracosta que tenía debilidad política, pero al pegarle este no se activó. Este es el

You cannot bring hydration manaphy to a gen3customgame
Screenshot_20220920-205051~2.png

Your team was rejected for the following reasons:

- Arceus has a Gen 4 ability and isn't evolved - it can't use moves from Gen 3.- Regigigas has a Gen 4 ability and isn't evolved - it can't use moves from Gen 3.
- Basculin has a Gen 4 ability and isn't evolved - it can't use moves from Gen 3.

These abilities are allowed on other Pokemon, which is weird, since it means PS still can emulate these abilities in past gens - isnt customgame supposed to allow everything?

Yay for Rollout + Ally Switch stuff

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8metronomebattle-1668897903

Turn 4, Astrolotl uses Rollout on Diancie and Arghonaut uses Ally Switch immediately afterwards. Turn 5, Astrolotl starts Rollout-ing Arghonaut instead (which shouldn't have been the case, especially since Rollout's target is fixed as compared to Outrage's self?)

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER), this is a known bug (DaWoblefet)

Refrigerate multi-attack doesn't become ice type.
As shown in this battle on turn 3, I have the refrigerate ability on Glastrier, but multi-attack stays normal type. To prove I have refrigerate, you can see crush grip becoming ice type on turn 12.

I faced the same problem when aerilate Landorus-T draws the move multi-attack through metronome, although I don't have any prove of that instance.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Multi-Attack is supposed to ignore type changes from the -ate abilities (Karthik)

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8randombattle-1674255937 the move g max befuddle is said to give the opponent either poison paralasys or sleep but in the game that i played it didnt give the opposing pokemon any status affect

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, if G-Max Befuddle happens to pick a status condition it can't apply to the opponent (e.g. paralysis vs an Electric-type or sleep when Sleep Clause mod is active) then it will appear as if it hasn't picked anything (DaWoblefet)

In ADV i think vital throw is wrong coded, i havent found any changes with the move across the gens. It has 100% acc instead having "-" so it can miss sometimes. replay (T32)
Move in PS

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) this is correct behavior; even though Vital Throw has 100 accuracy in Gen 3, it still always hits (DaWoblefet)

Emergency exit activates after consumption of a health-restoring berry even if the berry raises Golisopod's HP above 50% before the end of the turn. This behaves differently in the official games. In the games golisopod's emergency exit will only activate if their health is under 50% AFTER healing. (from items, NOT life stealing moves such as leech life)

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) this is one of many known bugs with Emergency Exit's activation timing (DaWoblefet)
