Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - 18th Nov 2022! **OFFICIAL INFO ONLY**

Well now Sun has it's new rain check, and a damn good one too looking at it. If only mine wasn't Adamant 31 Attack, but hey, it learns Aqua Jet so at least it's not totally a waste for it to have the 31 in Attack, right? :psycry:
You know what I've seen weirder things use both stats for luring or such
volcanion did it first...
Let's be real, when Steam Eruption is your bread and butter, Volcanion did not function "equally" in both weathers, he just functioned in both. Rain definitely still liked him more.

With the name being "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero", I thought it would take place there, but the info on the site gives me the impression that it will take place in other areas instead? But it is all related to Area Zero in some way, I suppose? Guess I'll just wait and see how it unfolds.
I guess it’ll just relate to Area Zero lore wise, like the new school is studying it or something. I imagine there’ll be a new area within it they just haven’t shown off yet.

I assume it'll tie back to Area Zero, whether in person or in concept, since Terapagos is a dead ringer for the unnamed Hexagonal Pokemon in the Scarlet/Violet Book and a bunch of reports has a clear relation to the Terastal Phenomena, something that stems primarily from Area Zero and the Crater in the base game's lore.

Dunno if this has been tested but tried breeding my Hisuian Zoroark with a Ditto and the offspring was regular a regular Zoroark
I think in general, Regional Variants need to be holding an Everstone to produce offspring of the form that's not native to the Region in which you're playing (region of Origin or not).

Alolan Dugtrio outside of Alola will always have regular Diglett Eggs without Held Items affecting it.

Do you think this will be all the returning Pokemon?
there's 7 Pokemon missing so at minimum there's a few more

also many of these are ones already in the game, so it's feasible that those don't truly count. iirc the kanto starters and the legends already in the game didn't count to the 200 in SWSH

could just be seeing a mostly complete list but still mid development

Asking here because it doesn't require a Datamine to confirm necessarily. Serebii claims Hurricane is compatible with Walking Wake, but also had and then removed Solarbeam as they were checking info.

Hurricane is still listed, but can someone who has caught Wake confirm if it learns the move for sure via TM? That move could be quite relevant on it so I'd like to know for the flood of discussion.

It can, yes. Just checked

Looking through this list, the following Pokémon still remain that can't be brought into any Switch game:

Rattata-A*, Raticate-A*, Spinda*, Snivy, Servine, Serperior, Tepig, Pignite, Emboar, Patrat, Watchog, Pansage, Simisage, Pansear, Simisear, Panpour, Simipour, Furfrou

*Rattata-A line is usable in LGPE, but can't enter it from outside. Spinda is available in BDSP but can't leave or enter.

However, the fact that every starter line except for the two remaining Unova starters are on the pastebin makes me think that at least they should still come back.

Not sure which normal type to feel more bad for between Spinda, Furfrou and Watchog
