we have two claims which can hypothetically get a guilty result on people and one claim with kp. plus we have various outed roles and whatnot. why not at this point?

the issue is that claiming cop means every diversion role will be going on clouds, which now really defeats the purpose (this is why i didn't bring up this thought early, didn't want to clue the mafia in too much although they probably should've figured it out if they were paying any attention. not sure how i feel about it. definitely cynical of me!

yea i have to be careful to not project what i would do in the same spot - i would say clouds's play is logically consistent (e.g. revealing laurel into revealing own role).

the benefit is that mafia are already going to attack 1 of me, M2H, duskfall, or jalmont anyways, so virtually nothing you could claim would make you the target over us, and you claiming helps us solve your slot. right now i'm thinking you're mafia -- i'd like to be proven wrong though. mafia already has a lot of decision-making to do in the coming nights regarding who they attack, we should to take advantage of this open floor to force massclaims out of slots in the poe and overwhelm mafia while we have our strong town roles alive
with me being a roleblocker, it is possible the mafia don't have one. but yeah, its not a perfect position. and green check on tommy is believable because i was reading him town earlier but tinfoiling a bit.
yeah fair enough, i know that might be in the cards now but it's alright, i think we can do this with what we have on the table now
If you have stronger leads elsewhere (which you do) I'm fine stickinng where I am for now. Might be a mistake since this is now the part of the game where I have zero experience, but I'd rather keep my hand face-down than essentially become a VT by claiming.
Making yourself into essentially a VT is completely fine -- we already have several PR claims and its all in all just very shitty to do a half massclaim because that gives the mafia an out. For this sacrifice to be effective, all townies need to claim.

outer poe: neon
direct poe: flanders, joey, alice, genisu
the bottom four as a team doesn't work though i think -- pretty sure genisu is not with both alice & flanders due to namedropping them both in his strange post about coaching, but can quite easily see one of them being with him. you might be able to substitute the one that's not with one of shane or celever if joey is mafia, i decided neon can also work on a joey team despite the vanity vote because he might've just been getting frustrated with him as a partner. and if you think about it, mafia wouldn't want to plant their vote on a widely townread slot like neon anyways if they were truly town. but all the credit he'd get if neon was revealed to be mafia later... he'd be basking in it
note that #2,835 exists as well, where joey recognizes how mafia would treat neon's slot if he was getting incorrectly townread
so, shot in the dark scumteam: joey, neon, alice, flanders?
like i said, i struggle with reading comprehension and reading between the lines but neither of these things seem to explicitly claim saber's death. bolded part crossed my mind as being serious, but im assuming thats not an actual claim. im a mech god, not a sarcasm god unfortunately.
