    Sorry to both you... this is just for future knowledge. I was wondering if I am supposed to put future Theorymon candidates here... or somewhere else. And when should I do this? Can I do it any time, or should I wait until this Cresselia one is finished? Thank you for your time :)

    Hey, I want to post the Volcanion thread. I recentely got its stats. They are 70 / 120 / 120 / 120 / 90 / 80, but this is a solid estimate. It seems a little bit early, but it will be released soon considering Diancie's release and we can get good discussion on it right now just like how we are theorymoning Mega Latios and Floette-E early as well.

    I had an idea, what about Simple Slowking. It could instantly get +2 SpA/SpD from Calm Mind or get a +4 SpA from Nasty Plot. Might be a little too strong, but it makes since considering Simple is kind of an ability for Pokemon that just are Simple, and the Slow line certainly is SImple.

    Got 2 ideas for OU Theorymon Project :
    Mold Breaker Garchomp. With Mold Breaker it can hit Rotom-W the single most used pokemon in the tier for super effective damages, and it has other utility too.
    Garchomp could also have Defiant. Makes it a huge threat if it switches on Defog, which could make rocks harder to remove, thus making it harder for top-threats such as Talonflame, Pinsir or Charizard to sweep.

    Hey, I just had an idea for the theorymon project:

    Illumise + Sticky Web

    As far as flavour goes, I just thought 'eh, it's a Bug' so maybe something like Whimsicott would fit better... however, the idea here is that it's a Prankster that gets Sticky Web. It also learns cool things like Thunder Wave and Encore, so I'm sure there's implications there... What do you think?

    Worth noting that you could use Volbeat instead of Illumise if you want to add Tail Glow + Baton Pass to it's arsenal. It honestly depends on whether you think it'd be better to keep them separate, or if you think it'd be more interesting... Just something that occurred to me :)

    hey, i know its currently not ranked below C rank, but i think Regenerator Goodra would be a pretty good theorymon to consider. It makes pretty good flavor sense imo, and the ability to passively recover hp would be pretty valuable for a pokemon like Assault Vest Goodra. Giving it more of a niche over other dragons such as Lati@s. At the very least something to think about if it ever drops below B- imo :x.

    I tested most of everything except for the Specially Defensive one, so I'm down with anything.

    So, go ahead and write up as many sets as you want man. We have a big part where i live and i won't be doing much in the weekend, so do your stuff. I will still be able to write up Aegislash after the weekend, so if you don't want to write it up or whatever, don't worry.
    I have 2 Rhy suggestions: Sap Sipper and Dry Skin. The benefits are fairly obvious, and their ability to wall MVenusaur and Rotom-W (who can only burn or Pain Split you) respectively cannot be remiss.

    I'd expand on it but I keep hitting the 420 char limit.
    How about sucker punch sharpedo? With speed boost, he wouldn't have to even worry about talonflame, and bisharp has shown how deadly sucker punch can be.

    Sharpedo already has Aqua Jet for Talonflame, plus he is already ranked higher than C rank.

    Ill implement your check soon, but I need to clarify something. When you said mention Timid, did you mean Timid 252 so it speed ties with other base 100s, or Timid with less speed evs to still outspeed Kyurem-B but then have more hp investment?

    Would be a great switch-in against most physical attackers and can outspeed then KO with EQ/waterfall/ice punch
    I know Goodra is B-, which is the difference between an 81 and a 79 on the test, but I'd like to suggest it gaining a secondary poison typing.... that or regenerator... or both?


    If that's no good, then my other suggestion: what if Raichu could use the Lightball just like its useless pre-evolutions? I feel the extra 10 speed might mean something good. I'm not very sure as I'm not that good a battler.

    Solid Rock Regirock can be a good Zard X/MPinsir/MT-Tar counter for the theorymon project.

    Or Water/Ghost Cloyster? Flavorwise, the blob sphere thing inside Cloyster has been said to actually be a Gastly, same colour, same eyes, similar(ish) shiny sprites...
    Water/Ghost would give Cloyster more resists, and as for it's weaknesses, Grass moves are rare, Dark moves are usually Physical(Sucker Punch, Knock Off...), as are Ghost moves i guess(Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force), allowing it to tank a hit and set up.

    How about Head Smash Aerodactyl for the Theorymon?
    In Mega form, Tough Claws can't boost EdgeQuake + it has no good flying contact moves.
    In normal form, it's attack is average, and dedicated lead is kinda dead.
    Head Smash would let it abuse Rock Head in base form, in Mega form, it can use Head Smash+Tough Claws to be a better Talonflame, with higher stats and blistering speed, letting it spend more EVs in HP.

    How about Tail Glow Golduck?
    It might seem outclassed by Manaphy, but Golduck has access to Swift Swim which would allow it to rape on rain teams. Golduck also has great coverage as well, after Surf, Ice Beam, and Tail Glow it could either use Psychic, Focus Blast, or Hidden Power Grass to defeat one of its would-be counters.

    Random thoughts that crossed my mind for the theorymon project, pick the one you like the most :v
    Are we allowed to come up with ideas for the theorymon page? If so, where do we submit them? I was hoping for a theorymon that includes the ability Bulletproof. I feel it's a great ability on Chesnaught alone, and the implications of this becoming a more widespread ability may bring up some interesting discussion.

    Yeah sure, just make sure they follow the rules found in the OP of the Theorymon Project thread and you are good to go. Post any theorymon idea you have to my wall, and i may slate it in the future.
    Oh alexwolf does Boomburst Meloetta seem like a viable theorymon option?

    Not so much TRC.. It's just a mindless offensive buff that would make Meloetta one more unwallable wallbreaker in OU. Doesn't really introduce anything interesting in the meta.

    Eh I just thought it would be interesting flavor wise, it's hard to find something flavor wise that is also competitively good, but not great.
