hey, can it be a seadra instead of a horsea? because I can't catch it as a horsea with the good rod, but I can catch that spread with the super rod as a seadra :/

k if you're fishing, you're always using no sync method J in DPPt (because you can't sync while fishing; it just doesn't work)

If you have your encounter slots, take your target frame (882) and then subtract 3 from it. Under METHOD 1 go to this new frame and take the second half of the PID on that frame (if the PID were XXXXXXXX, you would be taking the underlined values). convert that to decimal and divide by 656; this gives you a number between 0 and 99 (inclusive or the two end values). If you're doing magikarp via old rod, match up the number you just got with this post: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1821938&postcount=6 to determine whther you will catch a mon with the rod or not. If not, go to the bottom where the encounter slot charts are and try to find a route where magikarp are found on the good rod (which has a higher chance of capture).

Other than that, just follow the post I linked's steps and you'll be set :)

Hmm, I've been trying to breed a good Chinchou for a while...what do you think are acceptable stats? 27+ / x / ? / 31 / 27+ / 31? IIRC three stats get passed on from the parents so the HP or Special Defense can go from 27+ to 31...

emloop, though only really for the 60 seconds between syncing the DS and timer and SRing. I can even get away with 2 DSs :P since I really just "feel" the delay
