Well, the advantage is that
Naive 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, Extreme Speed, Protect is a KILLER set in VGC.
Wesley, the dude who won Nats this year used basically that.
Dragon + Fire is great coverage, Heatwave gets that 50% "doubles boost" (75%+75%), and With Naive Nature, his basically uninvested Atk is as high as it possibly can be (which with a base 150 Atk, that's still better than most VGC priority users).

I have no idea how that would work in singles, but like, in VGC stuff like DD or SD is completely unheard of. There's almost no time whatsoever to set anything up. Most matches last between 2 and 4 turns max.

I switched to a chimchar, but my delays are being shitty again. I found a naive spread with a frame of 4. The starters are on 3, but I can't hit three so quickly, so I'm using four.

Well, to be honest, I've seriously never played anything other than VGC. :x

But, at least for VGC I found after EXTENSIVE testing that Jolly>Adamant, if only because of the speed advantage. Singles Ubers could be a completely different metagame, but in my testing for VGC2010 this year, that's what I found.

Oh, but actually, Naive could be even better. ;)

No no, I HAVE roamers, and it said advanced frames by 5. So I'd be on frame 6 and from everything I've been told, I need to be one frame before my target frame...so....bakus?

So say I want to catch a roaming Entei. How would I go about doing that? >.<
I mean more along the lines of, how do I find it? As when I save the game he moves, so how would I move to where I could catch him without messing up my seed/frame?
