    yep, trial and error. as you saw I can't catch a Chansey since the spread is for encounter slot 2...although exeggutor is my favourite pokemon so i'm somewhat happy with that lawl

    Okay, thanks. 2 more questions:

    -how many frames does sweet scenting advance for you personally? I'll try starting from around that many frames before, hehe
    -do you know if there's any difference in the frame advancements between sweet scenting in grass, caves, while surfing, etc.?

    hey, do you know if there's any difference between RNGing stationary pokemon and wild pokemon in FRLG? i successfully caught all the stationary legends, but whenever I use sweet scent the frame seems to randomly advance by an unpredictable amount. like for example, if i use it and the pokemon from frame 100 is supposed to appear, it'll instead be like 150 or so. (again, this is being completely unpredictable so i can't just calibrate it...)

    do you also have any cp requests on gen 4, i mean the garchomp perhaps? im going to try them, although i won't guarantee a trade any time soon, i just want to do cps for fun atm.
