recently you added this rules

You may not require participants to have a particular number of posts or join date. We don't exclude our newer members.

For future giveaways will I be allowed to host giveaway where some certain pokemons in the giveaway can only be won by veteran/older members

Small update: I did give the modified ROM a try, but it failed on My Pokemon Ranch. I suspect that the Ranch programming looks at more data than just the SID/OT. I erased the Ranch data rather than bothering with it further.

You reminded me that I can't get any of my Ranch pokes off the Wii because I killed my Pearl sav. :-(

I'll just have to start that from scratch. I lost all my Haley Poke that I had too. Except for the Breloom I use for catching. I had him on HG and Platinum.

You don't happen to know when the IVs of a Haley poke are generated do you? Since I have to start over, I might as well try to get better IVs on her trades.

Oh! I didn't know that. Well, it's slower, but if it's safer, that's what I will do. I guess I'll delete all these PKM files and just use the ROMs for backup. I did start a ROM recently of my HG ROM backup, but I checked the new game for possible decent shiny spreads and it sucked so badly I think I'll restart. I can't get my HG AR codes to work on it.

Hi. I just learned how to use PokeSav to backup my bred/caught pokes (but only after totally trashing my Pearl Sav file and losing everything on it--really stupid move). While scrolling through the boxes on my Platinum backup, I noticed that in the boxes of pokes I got in trade, some of them didn't have their names show up and I had to click edit to see what was there. Does this mean these pokes were hacked? I can't seem to use the hack checking program on my computer (win7 64bit).

Can I request a trade thread name change (not sure if that's allowed without a really good reason)?

Reason being (not sure if this qualifies as good) is have have a mini-giveaway that I do (Blue Fish on Tuesday, where I do exactly that, give away any Poke in my thread that is a Blue Fish, on Tuedays). It's aimed towards newer people that honestly don't have enough to really offer to get decent stuff.

I'm about burned out on that gimmick though, but I'm not burned out on giving stuff away, I just want a different way to do it.

If it's allowed, can you re-name it "Fire Sale Fridays". The new gimmick will be I will accept any Fire type Poke in trade (even crappy one's that are incorrectly natured and poor IVs) for anything in my thread that couple be hit in battle by a Super Effective Fire type attack.
