    [Noise and shadows]:
YOu decide after a moments hesitation to investigate the noise's source, Yet somethign about it fills you with dread... After creeping along slowly, you finally find the source, with a twist of sickening shock: it's the entire village, friends, family, and neighbors all tied up[!]. You quickly spot your parents and hurry to untie them, bringing them to consciousness. When your father sees who you are, his eyes widen with disbelief. he merely stares at you, robbed of his voice momentarily. Then he quickly speaks, with haste: "So here you are..", and, after you untie him, he leads you to a hidden cask in the wall. your looks deeply into your eyes, as if searching for something. He then opens the cask and turns to you, holding a sword that catches the light as if with an inner fire. "this is what they were after; now please, take this and RUN."
    //End of SAND STORY PROLOGUE
    [ie PART 1 :D]
    [The escapade: finale]:
You ready for the climb down, and grope for the bars in the murky darkness. After finding two bars to grab hold of, you bring yourself over the edge and slide slowly down, until you hang by only your wrists. dropping carefully to make very little sound, you pause after landing to scout for cover if trouble comes. Finally finding a large jug you can hide behind, you start to explore the room in which you have entered. It is then that you hear the groaning. Do you: Investigate the noise to find out what is causing it, or hide behind the jug until the noise has stopped? [O.o we approach the end]
    [The escapade: Middle]:
Before dashing off you take a quick peek around the corner to check for any trouble. When you spot that the coast is clear, you make a break for it. Having played on the second floor often as a kid, you know the layout by heart. As you race across the landing, two bandits emerge from a side door conversing with each other. Now you truly know how valuable your time spent stocking up was: the rocks you picked up are ammo [duh]! You aim your shots carefully, and knock them both out as you race past, not pausing for a second to risk being discovered. You narrowly made the landing on the other side! --But the depths below are shrouded in smoke. Do you: Climb over the railing to discover whats below, or enter the side room with the staircase back down?
    [The escapade: Beginning]:
After stocking up on travel food, and eating your fill, you pick up a few rocks and head up the stairs into the room above. Luckily for you there are no bandits in this room, but the council house is large and expansive, so not all rooms will be empty. The time for caution it seems is over: you must get through the house as fast as possible without being seen. However there are multiple routes through the building, each with hazards to cross. Do you: Start heading left then break through the center or head right and go up the stairs and over the second floor? [Next one is a biggie :)]
    [The cellar]:
The passage becomes more damp and murky after you head right towards the cellar, though you spy the end of the passage at last: a slab of rock that covers a portion of the cellar wall. After pausing and pressing your ear to the panel to check for people in the cellar, you slowly slide the panel to the left out from behind a rack of dried food. The set of stairs becomes immediately apparent from your position; gray granite on the murkish colored wall. Do you: Ascend the staircase to find your friends, or wait a moment and grab some food to eat? [we approach the fun part...]
    [Inside we go]:
After shifting the rock entrance, you make sure to cover it up behind you, even though you can't come back out this way; you can't risk them finding out you exist. You let your eyes adjust to the murky pitch color of the underground, then proceed forward when you can see. This passage is not quite a labyrinth, but it contains 2 separate routes, one of which you must choose to follow. Do you: Decide on the left wing, which heads toward the entrance of the building, with and easier to exit passage in the stables, or head to the right wing which ascends to the cellar? [here we go...]
    [Entering the council house...]:
After making a quick leap when the bandits weren't looking, you race through the woods to the council house, stopping just before the edge of the woods. You have a problem though. The council house is being guarded! You know of two other entrances into the building, both of which carry the risk of being discovered. Do you: Enter the stable to come in the side door, or come in under the rock-concealed entrance out back? [Getting there...]
[Raiding the raiders] After quietly creeping up onto the closest house, you take a quick peek over the edge... Looks like you made a good choice, as you duck back down when a bandit comes out of the house you are on! --But something isn't quite right: there seems to be some sort of insignia on the right shoulders of the bandits clothes... You must then make a choice: Do you jump onto the next house to take a closer look at what the insignia is, or risk being noticed as you jump off to the council house, looking for your friends? [Dun. Dun. Dunnn]
    [The way back home...]:
The worry from earlier has now been eroded into fear, as you don't know what has happened to your village; you fear for your friends, your family, your neighbors-- but you don't discard caution. Fallowing the game trail to the back of the village, you finally figure out the real reason behind the smoke. Bandits. [O.o] You must decide how to enter the village: Do you climb onto the house closest by or make a dash from your secret entrance you created as a kid, in hope that the bandits don't see you? [...]
    [The treacherous climb down]:
You take your time descending, as the bucket often offsets your balance, water occasionally sloshing a little. halfway down the face of the rock you start to smell smoke; the scent of something burning close by. Rather worried now, you hastily climb down the rock face back to where you started on the northern route. By this time you know the smoke is coming from your village. You have to make a crucial decision: Do you run into town or approach on the back trail to avoid being seen? [Its getting interesting...]
[The broad and expansive view...] After your long climb you set down the bucket and decide to go take a peek on the world beyond the edge. As you cautiously approach the edge you look for your village to find your bearings, you spot some glittering flashes in the village... Curious, you decide to go have a look. After filling the bucket, you plan to head down the slope, but you can't go back the way you came with a bucket! Do you decide to climb down the wall or look around for another path down? [reply influences outcome, again :D]
