    Yeah that is a kind of postmodern idea I think. Traditional modernism would say we can know things are true based on human reason and experience but now like what is sane and insane is just based on whoever has power decides is sane.

    I finally saw Iron Man 3. I actually thought it was good. The best of the three. People say they didn't like the villain twist but at least it was an Iron Man with an interesting villain at all.

    I feel like there's this sense of "here we go again" every time you re-watch an origin story. After you know what happens it becomes kinda of tedious rather than thrilling.

    Whiplash is actually a cool villain but "oh no xd just another guy in a suit" meme exists because iron monger is a lame af villain. I guess IM1 they really didn't know if it was going to be successful at all so it's sort of freeform, but I feel like the movie really didn't have ANY idea of how to structure the character arcs so it feels very scripted and wooden when you watch it.

    Also yeah agree on Iron Man 1. You know it'd be really cool if they put Stane in cameos in the past, like they did with Howard Stark. He was a major fixture in the Stark family so why wouldn't he be around for stuff like that? He never got exposed as a villain until way after Stark died.

I want to do that. But she doesn't, like, get raped in prison. That could happen in my movie. If you want to talk about dark, that's how that would go.

    It should be "rogue one is dark", no, rogue one is cool. Jyn Erso is captured and is broken out of prison, and goes on an adventure to save the galaxy. She doesn't like, get raped in prison.
