I'm not a big fan of Baton Pass either, but I've learned that using a non-Baton Pass team with a member that can pass boosts to a sweeper is an effective strategy if you know how to use it. Mebukijika is perfect for that, which is why I love it.

Not really, Octillery benefits from them too. And it would lead the opponent to think Mebukijika is the team core until it's too late.

Then, pair it up with Shandera to take care of any annoyances and to Spinblock, and then maybe Foretress as a lead, since it can use Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and SR to layer in some entry Hazzards damage. It gets Sturdy too :)

Then maybe pass it to Octillery? With a solid movepool (which could benefit from Cheer Up over Swords Dance), and the ability to outspeed + Natured Base 130's at +2 (Agility pass) with Max speed and a neutral nature. It also has Suction Cups, which prevents phasing.

The only problem being, it's Skarmory bait :/ At least with Baton Pass, it can get the jump on its counters.

I'm actually a big fan of its Baton Pass and scouting capabilities. It's so useful in that regard.

Thanks for giving my suggestions on Mebukijika a chance, it's one of my favorite Pokemon and I'd hate to see it get shortchanged in any way =P

Btw have you used Shell Break Cloyster on any teams yet? It's THE most ridiculous set up sweeper in the game. I accidentally had my tier set to ubers, and I played against some guy with an all uber team, he had Arceus, Kyogre, Darkrai, Wobbuffet, Zekrom, and Latios or something. He was up 4-1, all I had left was Cloyster. I come in on Zekrom's Outrage, live the attack due to Cloyster's base 180 def stat, Shell Break, and proceed to 4-0 the rest of his team with one hit each. SO GOOD. XD

If you're interested in trying out the set, here it is:

Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Atk/48 SpA/208 Spe
-Shell Break
-Icice Spear

With the given nature and EVs, it hits 500 speed after one Shell Break which outruns Jolly ScarfChomp.

The point is, I won my first BW tournament earlier today using my Cloyster team, so I wanna play you with it. =P

Ok, so check it out, I was bored tonight so I was all "hey, let's make a monotype team, that seems neat!" so I go and slap together a mono-fighting team in all of five minutes, and then set my tier to monotype and click 'find battle'.
After about 30 minutes of no battles, I get annoyed so I say whatever and just put it to Dream World, I don't care about fighting other monotype teams any more.
....
I actually won about half the battles I played. Against real, well thought out teams.
The moral of the story here is....
