    nah swampert > mudkip but you can't start with swampert ._.

    swampert is the easiest to use in emerald imo (I'm going to be soloing with it, cuase I want to get through the game fast), because it's not weak to either of the "teams" pokemon, so I can afford to be at a lower level :D

    quiet means I do increased damage with surf :D and linoone's speed is high enough where quiet doesn't matter all that much (at least for an ingame run)

    lol, I just got emerald #2, so I'm RNGing my starter--once I get to the battle frontier I'll be able to get espeed ziggy eggs like 20x faster :D

    Will do, and yeah, I would have trumpeted that Rapidash all over Smogon if it had Flash Fire. I knew the IVs were right, but it had the crap ability.

    Do me a favor and take a look at my post in DMP after you finish what you are doing, please. I need to know if those 5 XD Pokes are worthwhile. I was thinking maybe on the Natu and the Rapidash.

    It's a combination of timing, knowledge of what seeds you can hit, and ability to be consistent. Unlike DPPt/HGSS, FR/LG's RNG advances while you are in the game itself(as well as on the continue screen), just like emerald does. The problem with RNGing in FR/LG is that the seeds whiz by at 1 per 1 / 16777216th of a second, so you have to be very exact in hitting your seeds, as well as your desired frame.

    Needless to say, it's quite difficult :/

    I've managed to reduce the difficulty of the RNG to a little bit above 4th gen RNG, although it's still REALLY difficult to pull off (or maybe it's because I'm shooting for frame 96958....@_@)

    Awesome, that means I can get absolute flawless on every one :D

    btw I've almost gotten the mewtwo (FR RNG for XD SD tutor); I hit the seed, but I was 6 frames off :/

    yeah, in that case, I would hope they let you bring 6 mons =P otherwise you'd have to send out 3/4 of your party all at once! or i hope they stay doubles rather @_@ less of a shift. it'll be interesting to see if there are different triple battle mechanics.

    do you know if the jirachis have random natures? or are they set like the ilex forest event pichu

    hmmm, well you could shoot for a nature other people wouldn't normally get (personally, I'm going to get myself a hasty one, just to abuse draco meteor, since no one else seems to want to use it :/)

    I think if you go for a mix nature, -def natures are better than - sdef, if you go special, try for modest, physical go adamant( most of the ones I've seen so far are all jolly/timid), other than that, it's basically up to you :)

    Lol, I might do it with my LG too, but that'll happen after I complete this FR RNG ;)

    Lol, just get it to lv 9--you get headbutt, which mauls everything ingame (unless this is the route to the right of mauvile >_>)
