I make my teams on showdown/pokemon online then use pokemon generator with my action replay to send them to my game
You basically hack your team into the game based off your teams from pokemon online and showdown
I am challenging you right now. Just accept. Although for future reference, you find people by scrolling down the list of users that is in b/w the lobby chat and the section in which you can search for a battle randomly.

No problem, look through the strategy pokedex on the smogon site as you make your team, it offers invaluable info and helps team building
Which tiers do you usually play in?
Its in the team builder, similar to pokemon online
you can make any pokemon to any set you want, it will tell you what is legal and illegal about the set as you make it
