Does the Mew have any 4th-gen exclusive moves (TMs / tutor moves)? And is it the same deal for Groudon? If either isn't available with 4th gen-exclusive moves, I'll select something else.
Nope. I honestly don't even know what they are aside from what I've een other people talking about.
Sweet. Let me know what you want to do next. I'll have time tomorrow. Now that you have a feel for the PID stuff, doing a shiny shouldn't be much harder. Just more Chatot summaries basically. I'm headed to bed for tonight. Congrats on your Bat Woman!!
lol, you can nickname them in one of the towns later too. Does the roggenrola have the right ivs? If so, give me his attributes, if not, just try again because your timer0 is just messing with you.
It should be. I'll show you how to know. Go to '5th Gen Tools' in the top of the window. Click on 'White Encounter Table'. Now do a Ctrl+F for Wellspring Cave. Here it will show you what pokemon appear on what encounter slots. the first one is 0 then 1 and so on. Go back to RNG Reporter and you'll see that frame 52 is on encounter slot 3 and 54 is on 5. Now go back to your table. Both 3 and 5 should give you lvl 11 Woobat. What's next. =)
Poo. Does it have the right ivs? If so, give me the pokemon/nature/etc again as well as how many chatot summaries you did.
lol, I'm not sure how competitive Woobat is but I like Klutz better. Both have their merits I suppose so lets just go with klutz for now. Did you see your starting frame on reporter and how it matches up? Woobat will appear on every odd encounter slot and Klutz is ability 1. If you look down the list you'll see a male on frame 52 with Klutz and a female on frame 54. So now, start your game, hit your seed, and open the menu just like last time. Now, make sure your syncher is in the lead spot and look at chatot's summary 2 or 4 times for the male or female respectively. Now sweet scent. If you hit your frame and we're right about your starting frame, you should have your Woobat!
Alright, that's what I expected. There are no NPCs in the area so your starting frame was fairly predictable. You got frame 50 that time. When there are no NPCs the starting frame is usually one earlier than the 'Calculate Initial...' button tells me. Go ahead and pick an ability since it is going to be incredibly easy to get the one you want this next time.
No problem. And something to note, every time you put them in the PC they forget their custom stuff. So whenever you pull them out you have to teach them something again.
OK. Do you have the game saved in wellspring cave with at least one chatot who knows a custom sound in your party, a sweetscenter, and your synchro? To begin, you won't want your synchronizer in the front of your party since the first time we only want to find your starting frame. Once you have everything ready, start the game and hit your seed like always. When you get to the season screen, start spamming X to get the menu up as quickly as possible. Make sure your syncher is NOT in the lead position and then use sweet scent. Catch whatever you encounter and check its ivs to confirm that you hit your seed. If the ivs are right, note its nature, lvl, gender, and ability if it can have two. Am I making sense so far?
I hadn't gotten that far yet. You'll advance the PID (nature) frame by viewing Chatot's summary. Each view advances it one. (This is assuming it knows the move Chatter and you've taught it a word/sound) First, we have to find your starting frame though. Do you have a seed for me yet?
