I had a feeling that AR was an issue, just a feeling though. We can certainly try that, however I'd like to go back to trying to get my Japanese Black version's RNG up and running. It would be far more beneficial than English White.

ohhhhh I just.. thought of something.... BLEGHH....
I need to use my original DS for RNGing, and my original DS cannot connect to my wireless router because of the router's security settings (which are non-negotiable because Andrew refuses to let me turn down the security to connect my old DS to the router)... so with my original DS I cannot connect to ir-gts to figure out my IVs for whatever it is that I catch to find my "Actual Seconds", "Timer0" etc... I guess I could temporarily switch from my DS to my 3DS to send the pokemon to ir-gts to check the IVs and then continue on with my DS again to actually RNG..

Switching back and forth between DS' on the B/W game doesn't interrupt the timer0 or anything, right?

I don't want to be too slow at learning when you try to teach me, so I watched the first part of that tutorial so that I wouldn't be completely clueless. ;)

I watched the awesome RNG tutorial (just part 1 for now) by bearsfan on youtube, and for figuring out my delay... I wonder if I can use ir-gts to check the IVs of the pokemon that I catch. He says the IVs need to be checked without the use of an AR (which I don't have anyway), and I wonder if changing the DNS for ir-gts will mess with the DS parameters at all (I hardly understand what I'm talking about so if I'm babbling nonsense... my apologies ^_^)...

Haha! Yeah training on the real cartridges sure can be addictive, that's for sure. Mid year exams? that sucks! Luckily for me, my course doesn't even require exams :D Good luck with it though.
