It really doesn't matter if they're legally hacked, as long as it is, in fact, legally hacked. Participants can also choose whatever battle style they want, and it's probably going to be best of 3.
It's going to be PO and Wifi. What I'm planning on doing is figuring out what everyone uses (or prefers to use) and then pair those people up with each other.

I still disagree. Flygon fills its own unique niche; I believe Garchomp definitely did more SD sets than Banded sets... Even in Ubers.
I disagree on the Flygon statement. By virtue of stab and base stat arrangement, Flygon will be played differently than the slower, more bulky Dragonite.
I'm not too sure...the image I had in my mind was having him pack some of your supplies, yell at him or something, then my character would get ticked, and we'd stowaway (or simply get onto the ship if you didn't recognize my character.)
