i can trade! no, i dont have it yet, lovrina didnt get back to me. it would be great if you vould get me one. thanks!
Hey, Can you check my SID now? Sorry for the wait, haven't had my internet working for a little.
You don't even need to worry about it. Since they never happen, it's probably because the NPC moved before you could call Elm, so the advancements happened.

That is the beauty of abusing in HG/SS: you know in which frame you are, because each call to ELM advances the frame by 1. You can keep advancing the frame through calls to Elm until you are 1 frame before the one you are aiming for.

To do that, you'll use vertical Elm Verifiying: you go to RNG Reporter main screen, input the seed there, select Breeding (HGSS), and generate. Then, you follow the results, vertically. If you pay attention the the collumn with Elm results on it, you'll notice the 10 results you saw in the Seed to Time adjacent results when you verified your seed. If your desired egg IVs are on frame 17, you call Elm until you get the result shown on frame 16. Then you get the egg, and it'll be on frame 17.
So, even in Kanto? No Lati@s there?

Anyway, you know that the route where you can abuse for egg IVs is not calm, right? There will be times when the NPC on the route moving before you press X to start the menu WILL interfere on your calls to elm, maybe making you miss the two first calls, or something like that. It is a possibility.

Also, when you're using pikatimer, input the calibrated delay 480, and the seconds 14. Those are the most common on this game, and at least for me, they always work to give me very little calibration to do after the first try.

Then, when you find out where you did land, you need to input that delay in the OTHER DELAY field, and click update. If you do that, pikatimer will update the timer for you, and you should be closer to your target.
To miss two calls, it's because of roamers advancing the frame. But RNG Reporter take that into consideration, as you can list all the roaming pokes, and where they are, and RNG Reporter will tell you how many frames it will skip. Are you sure you didn't beat E4 again and release them?
For the shiny egg, you'll probably have more luck if you save inside of the Daycare, in front of the Old Lady, since there is a calm RNG spot, and no NPCs advance the frame (as long as you don't put the pokemons on the daycare until you verify your seed).

As for the "No results" during the Egg IV part, I would probably say that, because you're not using a timer to help you hit your seed, you're missing the second or the delay by some distance, and that is keeping you from success.

The first thing I would recommend is to learn how to use pikatimer.
I'd appreciate if we continue the talk through VMs now, since my PM box is almost full. Anyway, I can help you in the parts you're missing, no problem.

First of all, so far I've only abused for shiny eggs on frame 1 on HG/SS. If you have that option, why would you try for other frame? It's all about being able to hit high delays. With pikatimer, you can hit high delays, or at least learn how to very easily, so I don't see why you don't try to learn it.

As for keeping the roamers, if you don't faint them, you NEED to inform RNG Reporter that they are roaming, as that WILL change your starting frame, and also will help you a LOT to find the initial seed, as there are two methods to do it, roamers and calling Elm. But to be able to do it, as I've said in the previous message, you need to take note of where the roamers are on the moment you've saved (which routes each of them are). And then, when you reset, you also need to take not of where they landed.
Hey, I've taken a look at your guide for shiny eggs on HG/SS, and I saw you saying that you should faint all the roamers on the game. You know, that's not needed anymore, and having roamers out can actually help you find your Initial Seed a lot easier. I've breed 5 flawless shiny pokes in one day, all of them with two roamers out.

The only thing you need to do differently is noting the routes where the roamers are on the moment you save your game, and input that in RNG Reporter.

Also, since you're trying to teach noobs how to do it correctly, you should, from the start, teach them how to use pikatimer or emloop. That way, they can learn correctly from the start, without the need for that calibration that, as mingot and omegadonut stated, they want to remove from the guides, as they are not needed anymore.
I'm sorry, I really had to go.... If you're mad at me, I'm sorry, I didn't have the time to tell you, please forgive me, and if the trade's cancelled, I don't mind, please just forgive me.
Yes, but later please, I'm cloning some Pokes for someone. I'll tell you when I'm ready and thank you.
