    WOW, that post was from over a year ago. I requested a mod over there to close that. It does NOT work. I errored in assuming it did on Platinum because the "Box Trick" worked on a Poke that was under level 100. I thought it was like on Emerald, but I was wrong, and that was a LOOOOOOoooong time ago.
    Yes, you would think we'd see more EVed Arceus if it were true. Maybe he meant Gen 3 games.
    I rechecked that thread from the link and somewhere along it confirmed it works only for Gen 3 games.
    Well, it doesn't look promising with the retraining of lv 100 pokes. I didn't do a full EV training, but I did try to add 70 attack EVs onto a lv 100 Spiritomb. First I made sure it had no EVs with EV reducing berries. I tried to add one HP EV by attacking a bidoof. I gave it 7 proteins, then checked it's stats for changes. There were none. I tried putting it into the PC box to see if those changed and found they did not. Then I tried removing the single HP EV (which probably did not exist) and also put the poke into the box and took it out again, but again, there were no changes in its stats, so I think the box trick doesn't work in Platinum.
    Yay!, I'm glad you liked them :) Also, I thought about leaving the under 50 pokes at level 50, but we never agreed on that. Would you like that for the next batch? ^^
    Technically Heatran would be my second, unless you want the garchomp :P

    I think it's both of them, one of the captain planet guys was the "love" guy (the south american guy I believe) and in all those corny moments in Sailor moon there MUST have been a moment when they said that :P

    Hmmmm, I'll keep my eyes open if I see one :) Heh, my list of wants is huge but first will come the two pokes that were my team back in the R/B/Y days: Snorlax and Gengar. Regardless of how used they are, they still are quite something for me :)
    Yeah, but then again, the world is quite full of them and the internet is quite a niche for them :(

    But yeah, if I get the Heatran right, I'll give you a copy ^_^
    No, no no, we totally lost communication there. Bit of a language shock there :P Since I've seen people say that X pokemon is worth 1 credit but Y is worth 3 I assumed that was the common language :P But yeah we agreed on the copies only. I only thought I had to get a credit for the togekiss, but of course I'll take it :)

    Indeed it is much better :P Man, I got that togepi on the promise it had two 31 stats :(

    It must be a pretty good exercise :) Plus it's cool, I'd rather trade with you at whatever pace than not see you at all on wifi :P

    Heh, that's the kind of stuff I should know before I go and trade. Not a big loss anyway, my giratina was pretty mediocre :S

    I also bred a boxful of Chinchou but the good ones all had Illuminate >:(
    Yeah, probably I will but after doing this for a couple of hours I now know why an AR is so useful :P

    yes and no :P The theoretical spread was 31/31/A/A/31/A meaning a flawless garchomp (trusting the ditto I got is truly a flawless one :P) but I got 31/31/16/31/31/25 but meh, much better than my random quiet garchomp I was using to clear the battle tower.

    Only question I get from that, if my first journal page says I defeated a poke, does that already advance the frame?
