I think Syndrome had some sort of mental disorder (not down syndrome just to shoot that lame joke out of the way). I heard an interesting theory that he had no father (when Mr. Incredible hands him over to the police, he says "make sure his mother knows what he's been doing") and so that caused him to become fixated on Mr. Incredible as a replacement father.

Dude, they need an Incredibles ride at Disney. That monorail-esque system on Syndrome's Island is so cool. It can go inside and outside and have parts of his base and the rocket and view of the jungle and all that man it would be sweet

Recently I have been thinking about the robot from The Incredibles. Do you think it really had an optimal design? Being able to alternate between using legs and rolling around as a ball was a nice choice as it would be able to go on all different kinds of terrain.
