Use Wild Eep's ID Finder, more commonly known as Pandora's Box. Just plug in all of the info into the third column and you can find out your ID/SID combo without having to save, check, then delete the data ;) I ID abuse without any codes.
Emloop can be useful in the sense that it doesn't lag behind realtime, yeah :) What do you use? R4, flashkart...?
You're welcome ;) remember you can always increase the first timer and reset 20 seconds early or something to make it easier.
Hmm...that's a tricky one...The only thing I can think of is manually inputting the seconds for the second timer into the yellow box, which works the same.
So in your case, your delay was 9957. 9957/60 = 165.95.
Put 165.95 into the yellow box and 60 into the green box and see if it works.

I don't know if you are still having ID/SID abuse problems, but I think I have your answer. I was recently using PikaTimer to ID/SID abuse and I was having the same problems as you. Upon switching my timer to the Emloop timer these issues fixed themselves.

chamommy do you have a moment to ev check a pokemon i need to make sure the ev's are illegal before i actualy tell someone its a hacked poke. i checked myself it has 252hp and 252 attack and 10 def. Id like a second opinion though cause ive heard of ev checks messing up sometimes.

I heard if you were to at least modify the OT/ID in your ROM that you can retrieve those pokemon but have not confirmed whether or not it works, but I suppose it's worth a try. The IVs of the ones I did receive were not so great nor did I really care about them.
Unfortunately it is slower but is much safer. I wish Pokemon Ranch on the wii supported platinum, HG/SS and was more flexible like Pokemon Box (limited time offered back in 2005 for the gamecube) was for the 3rd generation.
Personally I have never used Pokesav as I would prefer to trade pokemon over to ROMs that I can save on my hard drive at least. Pokesav has been known to corrupt trash bytes which can cause consequential problems in future generations the way I understand it.
