    SPACE (9/10) reports that The Aerospace Corporation plans to destroy space junk with its Brane Craft, which will wrap itself around orbital debris before dragging it into the atmosphere, where it will be destroyed. The Aerospace Corporation recently received second-round funding from NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts program for Brane, which “is a yard across, flexible, and less than half the thickness of a human hair.” The craft’s propellant systems and solar panels will be modular and redundant to allow it to keep functioning after micrometeorite impacts, and The Aerospace Corporation is working to make the craft efficient and low-cost so that many can be deployed simultaneously. The researchers plan to use the new funding to increase radiation tolerance for their design and to determine “which fabrication technologies hold the most promise.”

    The Detrave.net article reads like one of those class assignments where you are given a prompt that makes really no sense at all but you HAVE to write about it to not get that F so you try to come up with something but of course it doesn't hold up because the prompt makes no sense.

    "Neo was originally written as a black character" --> I have never found anything stating this. He was originally intended to be played by Will Smith, who is black, but his race never seemed to matter. Will Smith dropped out of the movie because he wanted to, so Keanu Reeves got the part. If anything this just shows race didn't matter at all.

    btw did you know Jada Pinkett Smith was in the running for Trinity (later on she was cast as Niobe)? Wouldn't that have been interesting if Neo and Trinity were Will and Jada Smith.
