The easiest way to get into LC is probably to read like 1 or 2 analysis that are online, get a general idea of what you will be facing (gligar, common pokes like voltorb, elekid, etc.) and then just take 6 unevolved pokes and stick them in a team, with kinda the same stuff as OU; SR users, sweepers, walls, etc. Really the only differences are the absence of stall and the pokemon being used (as well as the EVing system, but that's really easy to pick up, since once you know the base amount required to get an extra point, just add 80 to that to get another one, etc.)
