    Wdyt about ban suspects being more like unbans - the suspect is removed from the tier, voting decides whether it returns. Unbans show how the meta really evolves, but ban process only shows real meta change after the vote.

    We always try to keep suspects allowed to keep the current metagame reflected on the ladder -- keep in mind a suspect is not "is the tier better with or without X" but rather "is X broken in the metagame or not"...some bans make the tier worse for a moment, but lead to future bans or unbans which make the tier better in the long haul.

    Tiering is not linear and can be a multi-step process rather than singular, so we always keep suspects allowed

    Hey Finch, I wanted your opinion on zama. I know many people don’t like its presence in the meta due how it can check a good amount of physical Pokemon. I personally believe it keeps certain sweepers in check while still being manageable.

    I remember seeing a suggestion before asking threads like suspect tests to be annonymous so people would focus more on the arguments of the person rather than their character or rank. Do you think you can apply this to the qualified suspect thread?

    Something like giving players who can post in the qualified suspect thread anonymous usernames until voting opens. I noticed more personal insults and badges/trophies/elo arguments in previous threads so hiding posters' identities may lessen these types of posts. The poster's identity is more important in threads where anyone can post but if a thread is limited to qualified people then it is not as necessary.
