    You will need to add both, yes. Trade Arcanine for my Torchic, and I will leave and come back with a copy of the Arcanine to trade back. Then I'll hop on my Platinum, trade a junk Pokemon for the Torchic, nickname it ("Torchic"), and trade it back for the junk Pokemon.

    Will this work yes/no? Do you wish to change the nickname?
