Oh haha. the scramble challenge is a challenge which you can choose for any ingame pokemon cart. You tell people what you don't want then those people are allowed to pick whatever pokemon you are to have in your 6 man party. REstrictions can be set for evolutions, level limits, move sets, etc. to make the game more interesting. Pretty much its just to make pokemon more fun (like the nuzlocke challenge)
