    I use GBA backup tool (it's a DS ROM, run it on a flashcard with a gba game in 2nd slot) to copy my emerald .sav from my computer -> flashcard -> actual emerald gba cartridge.

    Nah. It really doesn't matter to me, either Japanese names, names with lowercase letters, or NNs suit me.
