Psychic immunity lets it switch into Psycho Break. Also, Latios doesn't have Soul Dew yet :p.

that's pretty debatable. While Bold handles DDRay and extremekiller better, Timid handles Garchomp/Mixray/Zekrom better
I haven't really tried it but you'll probs take more than an extra 6% damage with help from evo stone. It also makes chansey more physically bulky at the cost of like 10 HP and an inability to run a CM set (which no one uses).
