Also, I was talking to a friend who worked with me and we came to the conclusion that you can follow a rather stereotypical but 90% flawless guideline. First, it's safe to assume that if you're interviewed by an official Uni comittee and they look old, playing with good ole' family values and the good child will get you farther than the rebellious teenager who rallied her schoolmates against the school board for cutting the budget in an area. However, if the interviewers look rather young and are not dressed up as jehova's witnesses, you can easily try to be more"edgy". Hope that isn't too cryptical, but I think that considering the state you live in/Texas, right?) and the career you're trying to pursue I'm guessing leftist liberal arts colleges are not exactly what you're applying to so going just with the first one will yield good results :)
