  1. Heart Gold | Soul Silver In-Game Tier List

The Hoppip line is way better than everything else in Bottom and most of the stuff in Low. It might get a bad rep because of its terrible typing and attacking stats, but it is in debilitating that it excels. Within twelve levels of catching, it learns its attack, all three status powders, and...
  2. The Best Attack in Gen IV

Draco Meteor When you have two Pokemon that can OHKO anything not steel/Blissey on the switch, you have either two Ubers or (for a good two years there in the middle) The Best Attack in Gen IV.
  3. Quagsire Lead, Oh yes.

I would recommend losing Dugtrio for a Scarf Flygon. It, unlike Dugtrio, it has enough speed and great type coverage to revenge kill things like Kingdra, Heatran, Tyranitar, Empoleon, Metagross, and Dragonite, even after their speed boosts. You don't really need two trappers and two Pursuiters...
  4. Make Love Not Warcraft - A (not so common) OU RMT

You probably don't need three users of Explosion. I would suggest replacing Heatran's with HP Grass, but you could also give Magnezone Magnet Rise instead.
  5. Mix agility Lucario

HP Ice is better than Dragon Pulse because its an easy OHKO on Gliscor. Dragon Pulse is only better for the OHKO vs Kingdra, something VERY few non-boosted, non-Explosion attacks can boast. But considering Gliscor is a great counter to most other Lucario sets, and a common switch-in if they...
  6. It's been two years since I made my last team...

Metagross is actually one of the most common leads. I would suggest running Lum Berry with Bullet Punch Meteor Mash Explosion Stealth Rock Earthquake is usable over MM, but you have 1-2 water types (+Blissey) who can easily take attacks from fire types. And give it a bit more speed. The other...
  7. Team ZapPass

By safety net I mean Mach Punch lets me kill Lucario even if he gets a Swords Dance up. I might have to sacrifice something in the process, but at least it can't sweep me. Breloom isn't intended to be a frequent recipient. Keep in mind Focus Punch isn't a neutral priority attack either, so a...
  8. Team ZapPass

A Swords Dance boost or two really helps against Gliscor, Gengar, and Rotom-A. I also like the bit of safety net that having a Mach Puncher gives, since it helps against any Lucario or Empoleon that try to sweep me.
  9. Just A Little Experiment -- Battle Tower

Screw both of them and use Crawdaunt. It has more attack, the far better Shell Armor skill, and can run the same exact set with STAB Crunch in slot #4.
  10. Team ZapPass

Zapdos is one of my favorite Pokemon ever, so, naturally, upon seeing it was very usable in OU, I went and made a team around its epic speed passing abilities. Now instead of boring you with mindless overview or bothering to show a progression of my favorite sprites, here’s the team...

You thought right; use Metal Coat if you want to bluff CB.

Winter Wonderland Slowing Down the Game
  14. Stealth/Spike 'N Sweep

I prefer Swift Swim over Sniper on all Kingdra, so it can try to play anti-Rain Dance team if necessary (most Rain Dance Kingdra run much less speed). Lum Berry and Substitute are very useful for playing around Blissey (especially those without Seismic Toss), as well as preventing Toxic...
  15. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 23 (READ THE OP)

Is a Crobat with only Sleep Talk and Whirlwind still viable? I see it on the Adv analysis, and I can't think it would be anything that would make it less effective (greater variety of entry hazards, Choice Scarf, and sleep is as common as ever).
  16. VGC team 2010

Of all of the ways many to kill Shedinja, your team has none of them. Perhaps try to fit Toxic onto Lugia, Night Slash onto Weavile, or Fire Blast onto Palkia.
  17. speeds the name...

Superpower and Baton Pass don't work well in conjunction; replace it with Brick Break. The extra power isn't really missed, especially with its Life Orb and the chance it has been BP'd a Swords Dance. Plus breaking screens is nice :D
  18. How more OU can you get?

I understand the metagame is very much based around physical attackers, but I think having only one Special Attack on the entire team is overdoing it. Try switching Lucario to the Choice Specs variant, which can help take out physical walls like Gliscor and defensive Rotom-A. This also gives you...
  19. First RMT, The Bear

Because Machamp can run nearly same set with more bulk and better results. He just gets STAB on Close Combat instead of Facade and Payback over Crunch (which hits harder on the switch-in, though it does lose some use with boosted speed).
