Lindegaard, Amos, Fabio, Jones, Evans, Giggs, Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia, Owen, Berbatov, Macheda, Diouf, Pogba, W Keane, James, Brown, M.Keane, Thorpe, Fryers.

This is apparently the squad we're taking.

I can only see Pogba, Diouf, and Macheda having any shot at starting over the more experienced players. The rest of the youths there seem too unlikely to start, Reece Brown (Wes Brown's brother) could be given a chance in defence and Phil Jones play Right Back - allowing Valencia to start on the wing, Park on the other.. We'll see what happens.

I want to see the side I posted though.

Edit: Apparently Gibson has passed fit, so could play. Pogba is rumoured to start in midfield as well.

january third, remember the date

LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS

happened once and will happen again my friends

Have you seen Arsenal's Carling Cup squad? It's just a bunch of youth players... oh wait, most of them played against Man Utd in the PL a few weeks ago... <facepalm>

Wow, Man Utd's line-up is not what I was expecting! Maybe Sir Alex cares even less about this tournament than usual.

Amos
Valencia Fryers Fabio
Carrick
Park Giggs
Diouf Berbatov Macheda
Owen

Haters gonna hate.

Half-Time

Leeds 0-3 Man Utd

Owen x2, Giggs

Too strongth, just way too strongth.

can you hear the man u sing? nooooo noooo! can you hear the man u sing? i cant hear a fucking thing!

good win for united, and did fergie acctually bring defenders for that game? we had carrick and berbatov at the back at the end of the game lol

To quote the status of one of my facebook pals.

'every single status on my news feed is about some guy called Coloccini. I don't know who he is but apparently he has curly hair and is a legend?'

just about sums it up really!

AOC AOC AOC AOC AOC

FREE AOC VS BOLTON

Kind of a reverse of the blackburn game. Terrible first half, much improved second.

lol carrick + berbatov ftw

I only wish chamakh was the starting cb. he plays so deep anyway it wouldnt feel weird.

chamcack played shit today. had so many open chances and opportunities.. but he just plays so poor.

i really expected him to be a big star for the league and Arsenal.. damn.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was immense today. Massive pace, skill, crossing ability and just general intelligence on the pitch: a real winger! Not a bad shot either. He's the type of player in the Man Utd vein, a pacey winger with bags of trickery and looks comfortable on the ball; something Arsenal have lacked for a long time. Nasri and Walcott just aren't meant to be played on the wing. Gibbs looked top class today too, extremely comfortable on the ball and made all the right decisions: staying back when he needed to and going forward at the right times!

Park was anonymous and so was Chamakh... But a win is a win even if it is only against Shrewsbury!

Off to Brum to watch villa v Bolton carling cup 3rd round. gonna be tight making it time-wise KO 1945

Yeah, we won 2-0, I didn't see that coming but I'm not complaining. 2 good goals including a stunner from Chris Eagles from ~25 yards, and a good low shot from the edge of the box by Chelsea Loanee Gael Kakuta, into the bottom corner. I have to admit though, apart from the goals they scored, those 2 were probably the worst Bolton players on the pitch.

Also, it seems we're a lot more capable of winning away in the cups, than in the league. Last season we only won 2 away league matches (West Ham+Wolves), but beat Wigan, Fulham and Birmingham (all away) to reach the semis on the FA Cup. True, we did beat QPR away 4-0 on opening day, but even that was a bit of a fluke. Now that we've beaten Villa away its seeming to become standard for us.

About the game, we didn't play great, and most of the starting XI was our 'second' XI, and neither did Villa on the whole, however Villa only created about 2 half-chances throughout the entire game, one was saved quite easily at the near post, while Agbonlahor's header went awfully wide. We also hit the post towards the end of the first-half too. All in all, it was a deserved victory for The Wanderers. Wembley here we come (jokes).

gerrard on the bench vs. brighton tonight!

carroll on the bench too. extremely worried about the carroll and henderson signings to be perfectly honest. perhaps its a bit premature to judge them now.

2 - 1 and dominated the second half not bad considering liverpool are by far the superior team. A little bit worried that this has cast Noone into the limelight as the superb player he is, don't want some premier league club taking him in january!

Happy with our Carling cup victory, although it wasn't the way I expected to happen.Fucking ref. Alex deserved a yellow for that challenge.I'm really pleased that our sturdy defense pulled through. That BS red card also prevented Drogba from returning from his injury -.- Very impressed with Oriol Romeu and MceaChran's performances;they are the future of chelsea midfield and,in the latter's case, english midfield. The penalty shoot out was pretty weird tbh.Lampard missed and Terry scored O.O Ross Turnbull kept pretty well.Much better then Hilario.Swansea should be a 2-0 win for us if not more.

Wilshere's 'minor' ankle problem is now *surprise surprise* a full-on surgery and will be out until Christmas at the earliest. I would honestly not be surprised if he was announced out of the season sometime in the next 2 months. This shit happens every season, have Arsenal got a bunch of retards for doctors or what?
