Enjoyed the game, great save by Cech ball didn't go over the line completely.

In other news and i know La Liga isn't talked about much here, but Messi just hit 50 league goals, 72 goals+28 assists in 55 games so far this season is insane.

Reading that makes me feel really good to be a fan of Messi's 'Kryptonite' if you know what i mean :P

I don't know how serious this "news" can be taken, but apparently, Shinji Kagawa from German champions Borussia Dortmund said that he's going to play for Manchester United next season.

Yeah I heard the same from a ton of sources, including some moderately reputable ones.

Shame, he is one hell of a player, and that only weakens BVB badly (my second favorite team :'()

BVB are like the Arsenal of the Bundesliga, except they actually destroy

The one chelsea fan in the pub I was in seemed very happy with himself

first time i'm going to say this, but andy carroll shouldve played the full game, we started out too defensively with two holding midfielders, and that didn't work at all, as was shown with the introduction of ac and the huge shift in dynamic, great performance by the reds for the last half hour, but the first 60 minutes was just sloppy

ghost non-goal payback for the 2005 champions league i guess

Kagawa isn't going to Man Utd btw.. don't get too excited.

A fake twitter acting as him started the rumor.. and people ran with it.

Well, after the FA cup final yesterday, matters return to the premier league. There are crucial games in every aspect (title, champo league and relegation.) I'd say our home game to West brom today is virtually a must win; we must, at the very least match QPR's result. Doubt I'll get another chance to post this before I leave at 12:30pm, so I decided to do it now. I'll be at the game too.

well, im fairly sure everton can mange to get 3 points out of wolves especially if they play anything like how well they have recently doing. Jelavic has almost single-handily turned the club around, I still think if we ha peinaar in the semi final we would of certainly won.

Glorious strike from Toure. Our first trophy since '10 and United are set to end this season trophyless.Yay!

Disappointing result since it's out of our hands now but can't fault the lads on their performance. We were committed and defensively disciplined but a wonder strike was the difference. It happens.

Congrats on the title win City, well deserved.

Congrats City.

Can't really fault Newcastle, they played pretty well. If I was being super critical I'd say Cabaye tried the 'Hollywood pass' far too often and continually gave the ball away, I expected more from him today. Howard Webb probably gave a few too many bookings to the players that often need (and like) to tackle the most. But he caused that problem himself by getting his book out really early for a challenge that probably was a yellow, but one he could have let go. This forced him to book for nearly every miss-timed tackle for the rest of the game.

But yeah, Newcastle were good, City were better. Yaya Toure is a beast.

Oh dear Bartman, Bolton throw away their lead just as Cisse snatches victory for QPR.

Looks like Villa are safe now too.

Was out in town again today, luckily there was a big screen where I managed to catch City's second goal to very many groans in the crowd and some cheers! I couldn't help but laugh seeing the hordes of Utd supporters holding their heads. Came back and saw the Tottenham result, fuck yeah!

The CL race has been really disappointing this year, the relegation teams have been far better in the run in. It's like they swapped places and Wigan et al are chasing the CL.
