2012/2013 Soccer/Football thread

last time man utd got an easy group they ended up on channel 5 so if i was a fan i'd still be worried!

though City and Chelsea should be a lot more worried (especially city, 2 teams there that can beat them easily!)

Utd get a pretty straightforward group.
Arsenal got an OK group on paper but each of those teams have strengths that could see them put in a decent challenge for 1st.
Bayern Munich's group looks like a two horse race but you never know.
Chelsea have a pretty tricky group because Juventus and Shaktar could easily come out on top but on paper you'd think they'd be OK in the end.
AC Milan got a pretty tricky group imo because Malaga have been playing well and we know the strength and history of the other two.

Lolololololo City! I'm really looking forward to watching that group!

Lol Leeds used to be my second favourite team due to their Australians (Viduka + Kewell) but when they left I kinda just lost interest.

Prepare to be amazed as United get knocked out of a seemingly easy group.Shakhtar Donetsk won't be much of a problem imo,it's Juventus I'm worried about. And Madrid and Dortmund are gonna steamroll City.

It is pretty depressing, I was optimistically hoping for some reinforcements in attack and defence for Arsenal, especially after Wenger claiming all week that he is active in the transfer market, but nope. Not a word about Arsenal anywhere...

It's a hollow feeling that is all too familiar. Looks like Chamakh is our backup striker, Djourou and Squillacci our backup defenders, and no defensive midfield signing either. On the plus side that means Frimpong will get gametime and so will Coquelin. Should be enough on board for a decent cling at 4th place. 4th place da new 1st place c'mon the Arsenal!

Liverpool miss out on Dempsey (cracking player) as they refuse to pay a penny over 4 million

and yet they paid nearly 55 million for Carroll and Henderson

football transfers make no sense anymore I swear

QPR have done pretty well all things said Holiet,Park,Granero, M'Bia, Johnson and Julio Cesar even past his peak is easily one of the top 3 keepers in the league. Got rid of Joey Barton as well.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

best transfer window ever

Pablo, whereever you may be

They fight bulls in your home country
But it could be worse
You could be Scott
Left on the bench to fucking rot...

My gosh Spurs: Sigurdsson, Dempsey, Dembele, Vertonghen, Lloris...

My fucking gosh Arsenal. We could have at least gone for Dempsey..

Essien on loan to Madrid and don't be deceived by their transfer activity;Spurs still won't get anything more than Europa league football next season(And it goes without saying that they won't win anything).
