Are Xavi, Iniesta, Alves and one Spanish Defender automatic selections for every team of the year or something. Xavi hasn't been one of the Top 15 midfielders in the last year.
Put Alaba instead of Dani Alves, Muller/Scweinsteiger/Bale instead of Xavi and Iniesta and it would be perfect (idk about Ramos tho)

The team of the year has always been a joke, it's just based on reputation and who can get their mates to vote for them. Nothing to do with who actually had an outstanding year.

Apparently Chelsea should confirm the signing of Matic this week for around 20 mil. Now we can finally get rid of Lampard's damn wages off the books. We have needed a player like him for a number of seasons but then we used him to get Luiz(lol).

Bale barely gets the ball at real every time I watch him. shame because he does everything right and real would benefit more if they played through him than Ronaldo (who would be at the end of things, scoring assisting...etc)

Vidal should have been in that TOTY over any other midfielder you can think of except Ribery if you count him as one.
