...
What Separates it from Other Forms: To celebrate Ash's best run in the anime by far (Journeys may change that) I bring to you all Pikachu-Tactic which symbolizes Ash's growth as a Pokemon trainer into somebody who is actually kinda very good at Pokemon battling. It is an OG idea I want to revive, a mon that is basically a strong physical wall with access to Analytic to prevent it from being passive and plays similarly to an offensive version of Forretress. The game plan is to set Spikes and be an excellent wall while also serving as vital role compression with access to Defog and annoying moves in Thunder Wave and Knock Off. You can choose between Comatose for stallbreaking and to prevent annoying status, or Analytic to prevent you from being passive while also synergizing well with Tactic's low speed and decent offenses.
Wow! I hate this slate!

:ss/pikachu-sinnoh:

- Quiver Dance, Switcheroo, Trick
Custom: Honey Gather: Jolte Honey Gather (If this Pokemon has Honey, heal 1/8 HP at the end of each turn. At the end of each turn, if this Pokemon has no item, it gets Honey. Knock Off doesn't get boosted against Pokemon with this ability.)
What Separates it from Other Forms: epic MGLO/Poison Heal Pivot, dances around most of the meta, except Sinnohchu, horribly weak to rocks if not MG tho, also kinda frail so XD

:ss/ribombee:
New Pokémon Name: Ribombee-Art

:swsh/vikavolt-totem:
Name: Vikavolt-Totem
Typing: Bug/Electric
Ability: Magic Guard
Stats: 70 HP / 125 Atk / 85 Def / 45 SpA / 95 SpD / 80 Spe (500 BST)
Movepool Changes: + Earthquake, U-Turn - Agility
Justification: Fuck it, let’s get physical. Effectively swapped offensive stats while addding a bit of bulk and a lot of speed. U-Turn’s there for a physical pivot move, EQ’s there for (aside from being a physical wallbreaking staple) coverage against Rock and Fire Mons. Magic Guard’s funny because it makes Wild Charge decent and doesn’t tie the bug mon to boots if it feels like stepping on pebbles.

“Don’t tell me he fucking made a buffed Golisopod again”
:swsh/araquanid-totem:
Name: Araquanid-Totem
Typing: Water/Bug
Ability: Stakeout
Stats: 69 HP / 100 Atk / 102 Def / 40 SpA / 102 SpD / 42 Spe (455 BST)
Movepool Changes: + First Impression, Aqua Jet
Justification: Without Webs and with priority, Araquanid turns into a revenge killer. Fimp should be paired nicely with stakeout for a meaty hit against anything that switches in, but note that it’s still a Bug move.

Something for submitters to note when crafting the movepools of Totem submissions. Notably Ribombee-T loses Moonblast and Play Rough, Araquanid-T loses Bug Buzz, Skitter Smack and Hydro Pump, Vikavolt-T loses Discharge and Rising Voltage and ALL Totem forms lose Sticky Web.

What Separates it from Other Forms: A slow bug/electric physical wallbreaker with an extra steel spice. Now while you could be boring and go with iron head, you could be interesting and go with RAIL LAUNCH. In most cases you're going to be slower than the opponent anyway and rail launch fires a gigantic metal spike through their fleshy body.

Araquanid Wave is far too strong with Drizzle. Metagame atm is roughly on par with Home Meta in OU. Mon is gonna either need to lose Drizzle or take significant Atk and SpA drops.

Ribombee Art Totem is bad BATR. Trying to balance this thing is going to either end up with something broken or just be outright bad, so I heavily implore you to either remove Angry Sketch or Protean.

I say lower the attack. Magic Guard artificially bolsters this Pokémon's attack output by a sizable amount, and even without that it wouod have the highest attacking stat by a decent amount in the tier.

Lower this thing's SpA a little bit, it is a bit strong for what we have right now. Also, please explain what the heck is going on with base Araquanid. Idk what it does but it doesn't feel right.

Movepool Changes (If Any): +Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Claw -Charge Beam
What Separates it from Other Forms: Cool attacker with good abilities but bad stats.
Remove Tinted Lens on base Vikavolt. It is already a pretty strong Pokémon in our lineup TL clearly pushes it over the edge.

Vikavolt Totem is also heavily flawed, as the Pokémon is near impossible to reliably answer. Thanks to being able to switch around its checks and counters with a different ability (Dragon's Maw busts up Grounds or Transistor busts up Fairies). I see the vision in the concept but its fundamentally flawed, and these nuke STAB Pokémon were not designed to have reliable and consistent coverage / dual STAB options. Needs a rework.

Lower Araquanid's HP somewhat. Water / Dragon is a really good defensive typing rn so I think its bulk atm is too high in combination with Recovery.

This is less specific criticism and more a critique on the submission style on a whole. I am imploring both you and all other submitters to start actively looking at the Pokémon that exist in the tier, as we have enough existing Pokémom in the tier rn where we should start building to account for the existing metagame. Ribombee isnt broken, but do we actually need to add one more 140 Speed physical Fairy type user immediately after adding one the previous slate? Do we really need to add ANOTHER Ghost type after being 3 slates in with 4 different ghost types and next to no reliable defensive counterplay? For these subs and others I ask people to carefully look at the fledging metagame abd try focusing on fleshing out roles and archtypes that are not yet present atm, and try to gauge what the power level of the netagame is rn, as I feel people are not yet fully grasping the current tier's power level right now.

For specific critique I'd add here is Araquanid feels a bit overtuned, mon doesn't need to be a stellar wallbreaker AND a great wall atm. Stick to one and design around it. And for Totem Vikavolt Transistor is unnecessary, mon is already very good by design as is right now.

Giving 48 Hours for people to adjust and or complete submissions, and please keep in mind the metagame you are subbing for atm, this isn't Alternatium, rn we looking at a weaker than OU metagame. That is all.

Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Levitate / Rough Skin [HA]
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+ Gear Grind*, Iron Tail, Metal Claw, Iron Head, Switcheroo
- Agility, Sticky Web
Custom: Gear Grind: changed to 95Acc
What Separates it from Other Forms: Defensive Pivot :D with high-ish attack and better Gear Grind to avoid being heavily passive, also given Switcheroo to cripple walls (when we add em lol)
You know what we need directly after a Pikachu slate? MORE ELECTRICS WOOOOOOO

I decided to go with this slate instead of the previously planned second Totem slate primarily to introduce some type diversity into the tier, while also adding Pokémon that can threaten whatever may be perceived as the next big threat out of what has been recently added to our roster. Of course there is an important thing to keep in mind here - we have OU, ZU, and multiple levels of Uber Pokémon right here. As of right now the metagame seems to be simmering right below OU. It will be important that when balancing these Pokémon, that care will be taken to account for not only the power level of the current metagame, but for whatever existent roles that may or may not needed to be filled. Our rockers are poor and removal is limited. Sub 90 speed is the norm, and we rarely go above 115. We have 4 Ghosts, zero solid defensive checks. These are all helpful tips that you can use to infer on what to do when creating your submissions. Have a good one!

Effect(s): Power is 1.5x if this user has an item. Discards the item upon use.
What Separates it from Other Forms: Possibly one of my most bizzare ideas that I came up with and the journey it took to get to this point was certainly... interesting to say the least, and this is only the first part of my idea that I realized would fit better seperately on a different sub. Anyway, the main idea behind this mon is Magician + Wicked Blow for massive damage. Wicked Blow becomes 120 BP but at the cost of your current item. Then you use it alongside Magician to get your item back with an attack and do the process over again. You could even use it with Thief alongside Technician instead of its ability, and Trick is always an option for Choiced Sets if you so choose. In general though, this mon just does what Urshifu normally does but with a bit more spice to it.

What Separates it from Other Forms: Dragon/Fairy mon (since we're lacking in those) that acts as an excellent Defogger and solid defensive check with access to Rubber Armor. Basically, Rubber Armor is like Neut Gas or Mold Breaker but only for the defending Pokemon. For instance, when this mon is killed by a mon with Moxie, it doesn't activate the attack boost, or when this mon is attacked by Libero, the attacking mon doesn't change types. This mon is also unaffected by stuff like Tinted Lens, the Analytic boost, or some of the customs like Soul Reap. With this ability and type Calyrex becomes a surprisingly nice defensive check to common mons like Samurott-Rogue, Pikachu-World, and both Araquanid versions, and Defog makes it another form of hazard removal that the meta needs. It also has some nice tech stuff like Dragon Tail, Draining Kiss, status conditions like Thunder Wave and Will-O-Wisp, and some alright-ish recovery in Wish, but you'll have to sacrifice a moveslot for that.

Though Rubber Armor seems very strong, and it is, don't get me wrong, the mon does have some obvious weaknesses. For instance status cripples this mon hard as it no longer has access to Aromatherapy. Because of this it gets outwalled by opposing walls that don't care for its moves, like Pikachu-Tactic, Pikachu-Unova, Samurott Foamy, and Ribombee-Totem. It also gets beat by strong wallbreakers that don't need their ability to function well and can muscle past it, which granted we don't have too much any options for mons rn but this slate is for sure going to introduce a bunch of very strong Ice-types. It also gets beat out by boosting sweepers that can set up on it, since it's attacking stats aren't great and it's defenses, while good, are not great either.

Negates the effects of abilities of opposing Pokemon when this Pokemon is targeted by an attacking move.
