An animated battle for you!

Excellent work again! (I will never stop saying this, lol)

Loved the Hitmonchan; his face is like so sneaky. Strong man looks really good too.

I want to get back into the groove of drawing things, so this will probably be the first in a series of trainer illustrations.

Cueball from RBY

Oh God, I hated Cueball.... He always looked at me like he wanted to molest me...And you managed to capture that perfectly! Well done!

Lol, wow, haha, cool! (I can't actually express how awesome that is cartoons)

I am EAGERLY awaiting the next trainers. I loved how his pokemon had believable looks that reflected the trainer.

Good Work!

Also: Was this also done in Flash? It looks a bit different than your other work.

It's hand drawn and scanned into Photoshop for colouring. I really wanted to go at it with watercolours, but my confidence was lacking. Perhaps down the line with some practice...

But thanks, this is the first big illustration thing I've done in months and I'm actually kinda happy with how it turned out.

Rightly so, cause its amazing man.

I wonder who'll be next.....
(maybe a dragon tamer, maybe a guitarist, maybe a bug-catcher, maybe a fisherman, maybe a hiker)

I'm so excited!

Cueball from RBY

I don't usually go on art threads, but this is amazing.

Bonus points for him unintentionally looking like a heavy from TF2, jawbreaker koffing is just icing on the cake.

That is truly amazing. It really captures the darkness that was in RBY. One of my favorite pieces I've ever seen from Smogon, truly. It reminds me of the animation style in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Kind of sick and twisted and intense. Once again, I absolutely love it.

There always was a lack of decent trainer art... I mean, we basically got none in Gold and Silver. I would love to see you draw Will or Karen (Karen is one of my favorites). But I will eagerly be awaiting for anything you post. I'd also love to see a Gambler, Rocker, Juggler, Tamer, Rocket Grunt...all of those are pretty dark if I do say so myself. I think that would fit with that style perfectly.

Thanks, and yeah, I do miss the 'grittier' Red and Blue days. I'm aiming to do every trainer from that era (if I don't run out of steam first).

Gambler done.

you make me remember how awesome RBY was compared to DPP. Gamblers on the Route to right of Vermilion City were not fun in Yellow. (for some reason, they were less annoying in Blue)
