Welcome to round 57 of Battling 101. If you were tutored last round, make sure you send in you tutor evaluations. I deleted all of my posts because they were all terrible. I really want to learn how to play Pokemon the right way because I have struggled with it for so long and put in a lot of time to get better, but can't improve at all.

YOU MUST PROVIDE A BRIEF EXPLANATION OF WHY YOU SHOULD BE TUTORED IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 25 POSTS. Additionally, you must be able to use Pokémon Online, or at least Shoddy Battle (if you only wish to learn DPP OU).

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm Freedom2, a user who registered here on April 2011. I struggle A LOT with team building. It's by far, the hardest part I have to face in competitive Pokemon. Everytme I make a team by myself, always, my team is almost the same that those that are in the metagame. And, most of the time, I'm not comfortable with it. I would really like to be tutored. Since I registred here, I wanted to enter to the program, but I have never got enough posts to enter. I would also like to learn how to play well on a battle, I have got some skills but sometimes I just loose everything with a few of bad moves. Mainly, when I battle with a good opponent, I just can't have the battle at my own rythm.

About me: I'm a student, whose favorite topics are Chemistry and Maths. I get plenty good grades, and usually I enjoy hanging out with friends. I sometimes can be very reserved, but when someone is nice with me, I don't care.

After reading all this, the question is: Why should I be tutored? I have a great sense of responsability, and I know that having a tutor is a privilege. I would take very seriously the program. I would really like to have a tutor to help me with these issues I have. I learn quickly.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a high school senior that enjoys playing basketball, listening to music and pursuing academic goals. I am currently looking to go to college at NC State or Vanderbilt to become a nuclear engineer. I have been playing pokemon competitively for about a year and a half now but still need some work on things such as teambuilding and prediction, as well as older gens. I'm really started to like offense based teams so I'd like to focus on that. I'm hoping the b101 program can do this for me.

Tell us a little about yourself: Got back to Pokemon some months ago and I'm still adapting from all changes since Gen 4. I do have some decent knowleage in Team Building and Predictions, but I know that there's still a lot to improve.
Less than 25 posts explanation: I would really like to participate more on the forum discussions or help on the RMTs but I don't really think I have enough knowledge right now to really help anyone, getting tutored would certainly help me get more into the game and also be more active here.

Why I should be tutored. (less than 25 posts): IMO opinion, I'm at least decent, but I seem to have hit a block, and I figure I've taught myself most of what I can right now. I really would like to improve my team and set building, as most of my teams have one or two huge problems, and I'd like to have a non-gimmick set that works well that I can say I made. I'd also like to contribute more to these forums, but with my current skill level, I don't think I have much to offer, and I hope being tutored will change that.

Tell us a little about yourself: Im a Canadian Vietnamese boy that loves pokemon! I've been playing since I was a kid and recently wanted to step up my game. I've been playing for about 2 months so yeah I'm lacking some knowledge but I'm not a complete noob, I do know the basics. I mostly have troubles with teambuilding and making good plays though. I did get close to 1300 on the ranking but I always end up making bad plays which makes me go down.. Other than that I love hanging out with my friends, dancing, playing video games! I'm a friendly person so I hope to get to know my tutor and that we'll be friends!

I didn't get a tutor last round. A canadian tutor would be cool too since we could meet very easily but if there aren't any available another tutor will be just as helpful :)

I always loved Pokemon and played here and there with school friends back when DDP came out. We didn't really knew what we were doing, but it was really fun! Last year I met with Ace Attorney (one of your members), through Super Smash Bros community and he became a close friend. He is the one who told me about Smogon, about advanced playing in general and gave me the thirst to get my game to a higher level and get tutored! I also enjoy stall as a playstyle!

Why I should be tutored: I know I am new to the forums but with the knowledge I will acquire I shall bring my support to the community! I'm also available often on pokemon online so meeting with my tutor will be easy.

French tutor would be a plus but if they dont meet my timezone another can do! :D

I'm going to join the Military and still play Pokémon because it's the best game I've ever played. And I love to use strategy to out-wit my opponent. I think I've hit a plateau and need some help to get to the next level.

I don't have that many post because when I joined I had a lot to do like homework and band but then when I graduated I work working a lot and going to the gym i was too tired to play Pokémon most o the time. But now that things have cooled down and I've lost enough weight to get into the USAF (45lbs 230-185) I really want to get into Pokémon. As you can see I have been quite active just recently and will continue until I go to basic training where I will be thinking of strategies while I'm in there. So that's my story lol

Tell us a little about yourself: I started playing 2 years ago but I had to stop playing due to school and health problems. Now that everything's finally okay, I really want to play competitively again. I am really rusty and have a lot of new stuff to learn, since I last played when the 5th gen games weren't released. I mostly want to learn predictions and team building if possible. Apparently I'm a fast learner, and since I love playing I'll definitely do my best to improve as much as I can. I also want to contribute to the site one day, and I think having a tutor would definitely help me reach that goal.
Non Pokémon related stuff: I play the piano, like to hang out with friends and I love to meet new people, I enjoy RPGs (FF/KH anyone?) and I am majoring in Translation.

I really need a tutor, someone whom I can talk to and exchange my ideas with. Because yeah, constant correct practice makes excellent. But if my practice is wrong because no one is guiding me, I will not be excellent. :)

Tell us a little about yourself: I've slowly gotten into competitive pokemon, but I find myself just floundering around the bottom of the ladder, not knowing why I can't get any higher. I want to start from the team building process and go from there; my goal this round is to complete the Dark Horse Challenge. Incidentally, I don't like talking about myself online, so other than the fact that I'm Canadian (also, I'm friendly :)), you probably won't learn a lot about me as a person.
