Tell us a little about yourself: I've been able to achieve moderate success on the ladder, but I've never really been able to get very good, to the point of ever beating an seasoned battler, although I believe that I am able to understand and utilize most common strategies. I usually run an offensive team, but I'd like to be able to learn about all styles of play and how to use them effectively. I think working on teambuilding would probably help me the most, but really any sort of tutoring would be appreciated. I'm a sophomore in high school, I play basketball and soccer, and I'm pretty much the generic overachiever.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well I'm 18 and I have a lot of experience in 4th gen. I peaked at #1 in a few servers in shoddy while 4th gen was out. I am a decent team builder, but I just have no clue of what to expect out of this new gen with teams and battle strategies. I have a few gen 5 teams, but they mostly lack synergy and strategy. I am a quick learner and pretty easy to teach. I'm an easy going guy that loves pokemon and wants to get things done in Gen 5 along with getting more integrated with the Smogon community rather than lurking. lol

Tell us a little about yourself: Im a geeky junior in high school thats taking on Ap Calculus, Stats, and Physics next year :) I play trombone pretty well and in my spare time when im not playing pokemon Need For Speed or hanging out with friends is what I like to do- I am an adrenaline junkie so this ends up something like building a downhill race machine or something else fun. Im really stoked to see Formula Drift come to Long Beach then the Grand Prix, I love the speed, smell, noise, everything about racing.

On a pokemon note I usually put a lot of work into my teams to not achieve much, so getting feedback from one of the really good players would be awesome! I tend to run stall but right now im trying to make my non-weather offense team work and a bulky offense rain team seems like my next choice. I like Smogon and competitive battling so I want to develop into a more well known user and have at least some kind of ladder peak to be proud of.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well I started playing competitively back when D/P got released and have been playing off and on. I've always been terrible at singles although I have a fondness for doubles and VGC, so if I got a tutor who is interested in those as well that'd be great (but if not then so be it). Right now I'm trying to work on getting a degree in Neuroscience and in Creative Writing. While I haven't written anything I think is good enough to be submitted to literary reviews, I might get acknowledged in some published research.

Tell us a little about yourself: I've been playing competitive Pokemon for about a year and half now, and I must say that I'm still thoroughly enjoying myself. I'd like to think that I'm a fairly capable battler, but I know there are many things that I need to brush up on, 5th Gen OU in particular. I'm pretty diverse in the tiers that I play which range from ADV(just recently learned) to DPP UU and even to BW LC. On the more personal side of things, I'm a pretty average 16 year old guy.
