Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): Have been playing on anf off for a few years now, mainly playing ladder oms and ag but have also played some rand bats and ou during olt. I managed tzo get pretty good results on these ladders, but i have not managed to get too good results in smogon tours. I want to play ou so i can improve my overall skill which i personally find lacking a lot, includes especially team building, playing offensive strategies, playing for my wincons and i am insanely inconsistent with my skill level

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I've been playing for 1 year now and have competed in tours such as Smogon Tour (10 points) and Smogon Classics Series (12 points). I feel like I'm pretty inconsistent when it comes to battling in that I play very well in some and terribly in others. My main goal is to get good enough to consistently perform well in tournaments. Since OST is soon approaching, I think this could be helpful.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I've been playing everything from OU to AAA since the S&M days, employing "creative" team-building choices. Recently I began my journey to try and actually understand proper play and team-building, Peaking at 1400~ELO on SV OU, I like niech strategies and a more balanced approach but sometimes struggle to find ideas against opponents, which makes my play very reactive and non-threatening.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing competitively in early XY on Showdown itself. I have participated in a few Smogon OU tournaments But most notably I was part of team India for a brief time and played POWC representing them, though no great success. I need some guidance regarding metagame because even after so much time I still can't do things like understand a metagame and teambuild myself and even my plays need to improve.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): Recently retired from my sport and mons has filled that competitive void. My SV OU experience is largely limited to the ladder (purely because I haven't found many opportunities in the tier since I started looking), where I peaked 1900+ and tend to hover in and around the 1800s. Also won a recent iteration of the SV OU Team Building Competition which was fun. In other tiers, I've racked up a handful of neat wins against some players I really respect (and would love to work with), including Baddy in Masters, Always! in SS OU, and OranBerryBlissey in SV NU. I haven't plateaued by any means, and am only improving as I get more reps in, but I think having a mentor would be invaluable not just to my gameplay, but also to how I can navigate this competitive space and make a real name for myself. I have yet to "main" a tier, playing every chance I get in all the fairy gens from OU to PU, but I figure there's no better place to hone my skills and prove myself than in current gen OU, which I can only assume is the most competitive tier out there.

I've been seriously playing mons since mid 2023. I started with OU where I made top 10 of the ladder. Since then I mostly play rands in RBTT and RU in stuff like RUPL. I've also played in some stuff like unofficial pls etc. I want to get back into mons and my goal is to do well in OST, get drafted for OUPL next year and in the future, wcop for France.

I tried to start playing Showdown in mid-May 2025, but since I didn't understand the mechanics of the competitive format, I got frustrated and decided not to continue. Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing Pokemon Showdown in 2016, then I stopped playing it until 2020, where I briefly got back. I came back to playing in 2025 and decided to give tournaments a try. I have been playing Doubles/VGC at first, and then moved to Old Gens OU, where I had the most success and fun, playing and managing in many team tours (like BWPL, LCWC, LGPE PL, FCPL, EPL, NDFL, UMFL, NDAMFL, UUbersPL, and many Discord PLs like Mushi League) and contributing to wins in RCoP, GSC PL, and ADV WC. I know basically nothing of SV OU, as after playing my main tiers, I realized I need help to learn this tier and how it works from scratch. I’d love to be able to learn how to play good in this tier and how to effectively build my own teams.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I started playing SV Monotype in 2023 and quit playing for 2 years after plateauing in the 1400s. I started playing SV OU a month ago and have learned mostly from rating teams by shadowing competitive helpers in the main discord to the point where I can give good team advice consistently. I've also built a lot of teams there myself, so I'm more of a builder then a battler. I enjoy watching replays from all gens, even though I don't necessarily know the ins and outs of other gens beside SV, I can follow what's going on in the battles. Currently i'm in the high 1300s on the SV OU ladder having played a handful of games. I've come to learn about leagues such as the SPL, OUPL, and OUFL, so I want to improve my in-game skills to be competent enough to experience these leagues.

I have played in some Premier Leagues like ADPL and MFPL, but haven't done that well. I pick up things fast but I feel like I'm stuck in finding out what I can improve on.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I've started playing on PS! in early june 2025(with other username), Mostly i like to play all formats, have decent experience in every formats.My 3 favourite formats are SV Ubers,OU and Monotype.I have peaked 39th on SV Ubers Ladder and 48th on SV Monotype Ladder(in alt).I play these two formats very well.Reach 1500-1600 under 40 games each time i start laddering in these two formats(in alts).Have 86gxe on Ubers.But Unlike My other 2 Favourite formats,I am worst at my 3rd favourite format OU.Always Stuck 1300 which is pretty bad.Once peaked 1500 once in my OU Journey.So i've came here to learn more about OU as a tutee and wants to be good established SV OU Player.
