Question about IV calculation (not sure if it's simple, but I guess most people here are pretty good at IVs).

By using any standard IV calculator, such as the one on serebii, do I need to put in the effort points in order to get an accurate IV result, or can I leave the EP fields blank and just put in the stats, even if my pokémon has been EV trained?

I know this sounds totally idiotic, but are EP's the same as EV's? >.>
 
I'm trying to breed my tyrouge and ditto, but it still hasn't gotten an egg after 6mins...:/ It says "The two prefer to play with other pokemon more than with each other" does that mean that they won't breed, or that eventually I'll get an egg from them?
 
I have a few questions to ask:
What's the minimum sp attack required to 1Hkill Dragonite with non-stab Ice Beam? Assume non bulky Dragonite.
Can a team do without electric attacks? Is it ok to rely solely on rock attacks to kill Gyarados?
Which is a better filler move on Yanmega? Psychic or Shadow Ball?
Fake Out on Blastoise is illegal with which moves?
 
Simple Question:
Why don't I see more instances of Latios in the battle tower top 30 list?
I thought he was great, but does he have some crippling flaw that I don't see?

What Pokemon can... "SubSleepPass", being what Pokemon can learn Substitute, Baton Pass, and a sleep move?

I can't really find a good way to look but I found Drifblim. How well that'd work, I dunno..

I'm thinking of my own strategy right now.

I don't care what Sleep move it is, whether it be Spore, Grasswhistle, Hypnosis, Sing, whatever.

I have another question.... how is the whole Jolteon SubPass thing supposed to work? Wouldn't Jolteon go first, put up a sub, get the sub broken, .. then what? I don't understand. Could someone tell me what it's for?

The Eeveelutions (and Eevee itself lol) can Yawn, if that works with your idea.

EDIT: The Togepi family learns Yawn and BP as well.

EDIT 2: Mr Mime gets Hypnosis and BP.
