I bred a female Adamant Dragon Dance Bagon a while ago with the IVs 30/30/30/17/15/31. I was wondering if these IVs were good enough, or I should try and re-breed.
 
I don't think that's bad, but it's not as good as the people here on Smogon have. Like, I'd personally use it, but you could get better and you prolly couldn't trade it too well on the Wifi boards.

You should prolly use the Look at what I bred thread for IV's btw

Well, I'm not advertising this, I'm just asking if I should keep it or not -_-

But thanks. I'm probably going to end up breeding a new one. Is there a trick to breeding quad-flawless?
 
Since you can only pass 3, I'm pretty sure that you're pretty much reliant on luck. Though one thing I can say, if you're going for the long run, don't try to pass Defense or HP if you're going for a quad flawless. The other stats should get higher priority, because relative to the passing chance Defense and HP are going to randomly pop up more.

In the end it's all about luck. Ask some of the more high profile breeders for better tips.
 
I'm wondering is it possible for the GTS clone technique to really ruin your game? For the first time, my game actually crashed and I had to turn it back on again. At first the DS didn't didn't detect a game card in it. Then I turned it back on and it was fine, thought I was worried.

cloning
iv check
fast hatch

i have asked multipul times and have gotten not one answer, i have googled it multipul times with no luck.

I also trust the people here at smogon more then a cheat website.

any help is much appreicated, thanks.

When a Pokémon is put to sleep, it receives a counter that starts somewhere between 1 and 4. The number is chosen randomly, but no significant testing has been done on the distribution. If the counter is at 0 when the Pokémon's turn comes up, it will awaken. If not, the counter will fall by one and the Pokémon will spend the turn asleep. If a Pokémon uses Rest, the counter always starts at 2. If a Pokémon with Early Bird is put to sleep, the counter is half what it would normally be (rounded down).

I have not done any official research on the subject, but in my experience, a sleeping Pokémon that is switched out retains its sleep counter. So if your opponent uses Rest with their Pokémon, spends the following two turns asleep, and then switcehes out, that Pokémon's counter remains at 0 and it should wake up the next time it tries to use a move.

Yes. Taunt prevents the use of any move that is not a physical or special move.

Hey guys, what do you think would be a better recipient of Agility, Octillery or Hitmonchan?

Octillery (w/Sniper + Scope Lens for Critical sweep)

Hitmonchan (w/ Iron Fist + Life Orb for elemental coverage sweep)

Octillery might need a Focus Energy before attempting to sweep, so it might have to spend one turn on that. Also, from comparing their HP/defenses/types, what would have more survivality? Thank you very much.

Hitmonchan has better coverage and decent attack to begin with.
 
Yes, to me. It just randomly froze once when I was hatching an egg. Scared me, I thought I did something wrong with my ar or something of the such.

My question: Are you guys having problems with gts trading tonight? I keep getting error messages on some things.(ex: I tried to put up my legit crap giratina hoping to get a better one, yet it wouldn't let me deposit it..)
 
The whole thing happened to me when I was trying wireless trading. Maybe Nintendo was down or something, but the freeze up did scare me though.
 
I'm thinking about creating a Rain Dance team involving Toxicroak and Kingdra. Could anyone give me some ideas as to what Pokemon I could use to set up Rain Dance? Preferable something bulky and that isn't weak to the same things water is. Thanks in advance.
 
Paralysis reduces speed by 6 stages, like the pokemon got hit with 3 cotton spores. This basically quarters speed, so if the paralysed pokemon has speed that's more than like 4 times the non paralysed one it will go first. This is unlikely in a level 100 31 IV environment though. Ingame it can happen.
 
What is the critical hit % for:

-normal attacks
-attacks with higher critical-hit ratios (i.e. Slash)
-Super Luck
-Scope Lens
-Focus Energy (I think it's two stages, so is it like two of Scope Lens?)

Two Questions:

1. When Sleep by Hypnosis or sleep powder, what % chance of my pokemon waking up next turn?
- I heard they can be asleep for 4 turns, then they wake up?

2.When My pokemon asleep, and I return it, and release 4 turns later, do they wake up? similar to question on top
-What about Rest? also

1. Can Tangela be found anywhere in D/P? Serebii says it can swarm but in the whole year I've had this game its never happened, so whats up?

2. When you transfer the Electivire/Magmortar from PBR to D/P, can you save in front of the delivery guy and soft reset for good IVs? Or will he disappear or something if you reset?

1. Yeah it swarms, try changing your swarm with the DS clock trick to ease the process.

2. You can soft reset for good IVs for the PBR pokemons.
