Ok. I'm wondering if these Pokemon are legit:
Tyranitar says "Egg obtained in Jubilife City"
Garchomp says "Egg obtained in Solaceon Town"
Dragonite says "Egg obtained in Solaceon Town"
These worry me, because don't bred Pokemon say "Egg obtained from Daycare Couple"? The Dragonite was supposedly hack checked, and supposedly turned up legit. I'm not sure if there is any way this can happen ~.~

Is there a hack checker who would be able to answer my question? I'm currently using an AR code to modify the EV values given by vitamins, effectively EVing my pokemon in a very short amount of time, as advertised in my sig. I just wanted to know if this turns up in a hack check and if this makes the Pokemon illegal. Just keep in mind that I'm not going over the 510 EV limit. Thanks in advance.

The Elite 4 won't get stronger. Your Pokemon might grow 10 levels or more or less based on the level they started at. I heard the Rival gets stronger, but I don't know for sure.
What should I do?
If you start a new game you would be erasing everything your friend hacked on that cartridge so I don't understand what are you afraid of.
I don't understand why if you own an R4 you wouldn't use it, what makes you afraid of using an R4? if you don't wanna use it then why would you buy it?

The R4 was a gift from my father, and I have heard rumors that Nintendo could catch people with cartridges that were hacked beyond repair from starting a new game.
Correct. Once you beat the Elite 4 20 times, your rival's Pokemon will gain 10 levels (from Lv58-64 to Lv68-74).
There is not such thing as "hacked beyond repair", the moment you start a new game you erased all previous saves data and that's it. There is no way to modify the game itself using AR or whatever, try to get your info from reliable sources.
Besides how would Nintendo prevent you from starting a new game? 0_o you don't think that the "wii would like to play" guys are gonna show up at your door and confiscate your game do you? the most that Nintendo can do is ban you from wifi and I think that only happens in extraordinary cases and you can always switch FCs.
Regarding the R4 it is the same as having a real cartridge, it even can go on wifi with no problem because the FC is created the first time you get online with the DS and is not exclusive to the cartridge. It's even better to have an R4 because it has built-in AR functionality so the only issue is if you feel comfortable contributing with game piracy by using an R4 but that is an issue that nobody here is going to help you decide on.

How does gts fishing work and what exactly is it?
GTS fishing is where you put highly desired pokes up (I use cloned palkias) asking for a legend you want. You keep doing this over and over until you get a good one.
Does that tend to work better than sr'ing for a good legendary?
Not really, but occasionally you may find some interesting stuff like shinies (shiny Dialgas, Palkias, and Deoxys seem to be very common for some reason), or something that might actually have good IVs. I got 3 shiny Lugias from there. Whether or not they are legitimate, I don't know, except for one which I know for sure is hacked.
