I'm not sure if this question should belong here, but is there a reason that Event moves were banned on Shoddy?

Is it just to make it more reasonable since it would be unlikely to have an event pokemon with extremely good IVs and nature?

That's the discussion that the smogon staff had in the policy discussion forum and because of that it was decided to ban those moves.
 
Would I be allowed to make a thread called " Your 10 favorite pokemon",and ask people what are there 10 favorite/strong pokemon and why,tally up the votes for each pokemon and make a scoreboard for it,to find out the "most liked pokemon",and how it fares against other pokemon?
 
Where can I train my Solrock? (level 35, knows Earthquake, Rock Throw)

I am currently fighting Happiny trainers in the route above Solaceon town (they give 1300+ Exp w/ Lucky Egg)

Where else would be a decent spot?
 
You should fight Ariana (girl in Route 228, just above the grass at the top). She has a Lv59 Chansey that can be easily taken down and it will give you around 4834 EXP with Lucky Egg. Your Solrock may even be able to take down her Rapidash...
 
Hi, I'm trying to make a togekiss that can function as a BP'er.
If my moveset is:

Baton Pass
Roost
Air Slash
Nasty Plot

and i want it to take hits before the pass, but i still want to make use of air slash's flinch how should i ev it?
I know i should give it 252 HP EV's, but I don't know how many Defense, Speed, and Sp. Atk EV's I shoudl allocate to a Timid or Modest Togekiss?
(I know I should use a Calm togekiss, but I've bred 40 togepis and no such luck so far)
 
What is marowak's best alternative to fire punch to handle skarm and bronzong...I don't think there are any viable ones.

Even though Fire Punch is better for hitting other things, Focus Punch can be used on both Bronzong and Skarmory (both neutral and is equal to SE Fire Punch power), but then again Focus Punch is much less reliable, and EQ/Rock Slide pretty much covers it..so you need Fire Punch..I suggest trying to get from someone if you don't have access to it.
 
Does resetting on an Egg to get the Same Nature and Ability and Gender only work in Emerald? Or can it be done in D/P too?
