I was recently looking at apparently succesful offensive teams on the RMT forum and I noticed the massive usage of Deoxys-e. However, the local environment I play in makes me unable to use him and I was wondering what could be a good replacement even though it has an unique speed base and coverage... I really have no idea what could work, maybe actually having a wall there or idk.

Any thoughts on this?

as far as revenge killing goes, I've found scarfgar to be pretty okay, though he can't do as much in the lategame, being locked into one move and all. but yea, like venom said, I will personally help you (if you really want the help) if you post an rmt, or even in private if you want.

I'm certain my google and smogon searches probably just fail, but I was wondering how one actually hex checks? I hear people talk about it often and I have a couple traded pokes from GTS and people I know (but won't know anymore if it turns out they are hacked :P) and would like to check it on my own. Thanks to whoever answers this question.

I know. Its not letting me battle at all though.

On emerald its working fine. On sapphire its not letting me battle.

(And by the way, you can get around the "once a day" thing by mixing records again)

Did you fix the Berry Glitch on that Sapphire version? That's the only explanation that comes to mind for the game not letting you battle again.

On another subject... Do foreign (Japanese, for example) versions of the DS games work with the American PBR, or Ranch? I'm trying to decide if I should pre-order Platinum, but if it won't work with those I might as well wait.

Are BL and Uber considered tiers or just banlists for UU and Standard?
i would say "both". strictly, they only exist for the purpose of being banlists, but since they are legitimate arenas for competitive play, they are also considered tiers. they're referred to as "faux tiers" on occasion.

Have you beaten the Elite 4 in Sapphire? You have to before you can battle in secret bases.

Anyone?

It requires an R4, and there is a specific program that is used, but I doubt a hack checker will actually tell you what it is / called, since people try to pass hacked pokemon into legit, so good luck.

I am making a--more or less standard--Agiligross, but I can't quite decide how high I want its speed to be. I understand that there are certain stats that are good to overcome. I read on the main site that Agiligross should have at least 202 Speed so that after one Agility it has 404 Speed and can outspeed Heracross and stuff. Should I shoot for much higher than that? With the IV I have, I can outspeed Jolly Choice Scarf Garchomp after one Agility if I invest 240 effort points... but is that a waste? Should I just try to outspeed Adamant CS Garchomp? Or should I just aim in the 230s to outspeed Ttar?

What do you think is best?

please note: The Metagross I'm using has a 24 as its Speed EV, and I am EV training accordingly. Please don't tell me that I should breed for an IV above 25. It's high enough in my opinion, and it has 28 as its Attack IV.

really 404 is all that's necessary, if you have access to ice punch, you might want to out speed scarfed chomp, but you shouldn't be staying in on it anyway.

Well I actually put Thunderpunch on it. The moveset is Explosion , EQ, Meteor Mash, Thunderpunch... It doesn't have Agility yet, because I wasn't sure whether I wanted to delete Explosion or Thunderpunch... I have it in Emerald now, as that is where I am doing any EV training of 1-3rd Generation Pokemon, so I can clone it... but which do you (all) think would be more beneficial on a Metagross? Thunderpunch/Explosion/Ice Punch?

Also, what about a regular standard CBGross... MM/EQ/Explosion/Ice Punch or Thunderpunch?

Is there a point to just packing Ice Punch for--more or less--Garchomp and Gliscor?

I wouldn't bother leaving Metagross in against Garchomp anyway, Earthquake, if not a OHKO, would be damn close, and Ice Punch probably wouldn't be enough to OHKO anyway. Stick with Thunderpunch for now, and probably try something else for dealing with Chomp.

My Garchomp has a 31 Spe IV, and 252 Spe EVs, with a Jolly nature.

Is it at all possible for a Celebi to outspeed it?

Hey, I'm trying to work out a "diffferent" feeling starter for my OU team... I know that's though without seeing it in full, but I wanted to ask your opinions. Do you think either of these could work as a lead? I know they both have "standard" lead sets, but I want something (anything) that's out of the norm.
