I don't know if I can ask it here but.. what exactly is "trolling"? I was reading the rules of RMT section and came across that word.

omfgz still no anwsersssssssssss?

If my Bold Starmie isnt running Psychic, does it need a 31 iv + 16 EV in speed in order to outrun Heracross?

Wait, what?
I ran it through a stat calculator, and your Starmie would have 270 spe, 1 above Adamant 252spe Heracross.

Are you asking that do you need to be able to outrun Adamant Hera if you do not have psychic?
Well, no, but it doesn't hurt!

I thought I remembered the analyses said 16 EVs to outrun Adamant Hera..

But the main reason is im breeding a Bold Starmie for wifi and dont want to have to aim for perfect speed if it doesnt need it for anything else, because I dont think im gonna run Psychic.

Finally got myself an AR! ^.^ So ehrm... what are the standard codes everyone uses? Like Iv Check and such? o.o;

Just so you know, you're not actually allowed to ask for / give out AR codes. Try google or something...

According to this: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Personality_value

A Pokémon's personality value is an unsigned 32-bit integer that is created when the Pokémon is first encountered; it is set as soon as the Pokémon appears in the wild, the Pokémon's egg is received from the daycare man or another NPC, or the Pokémon itself is received from an NPC. As an unsigned 32-bit integer, its value can be anywhere between 0 and 4294967295 inclusive, represented as a string of 32 0's and 32 1's in binary, respectively.
So there you have it, there are 429496726 possible values for the PID (including 0).

But the game will still work perfectly? And I won't get any dry battery errors? What about the effect on Pal Park and stuff?

Actually I answered that question along time ago.

EDIT: Back on page 17:)

EDIT2: Does anyone know where I can find AncienRegime?

This is a stupid question, but I'm guessing that editing a Pokemon's EVs with Pokesav makes it "non-legit"?

Also, does using the vitamin modifier code also makes a Pokemon show up as "non-legit" as well, right?

Just wondering, because I have about 50 things to EV train, and I want to know if I can take some shortcuts. :P

OK, I know this is probably stupid, but is there anywhere I'm allowed to post CAP RMTs?

..In the CAP subforum? That'd seem to be the most likely place.

Modifying a pokemon in anyway is technically considered non-legitimate by the community, but as long as you don't screw up, the game should be able to recognize it just fine.

I was wondering what speed stat should I aim for on an adamant metagross with the following moveset (basically the metagross you can see in recent RMTs):

(Metagross) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
Adamant nature
- Pursuit
- Explosion
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake

Taylor's one in his last RMT has 212 speed EVs (229 speed @ lvl 100 with 31 IVs) and I have no idea why =[

This metagross is mainly there to explode on specific treats and to counter gengar.

If you use the Vitamin Modifier Code, you're modifying the vitamins, not the Pokémon, so I'm almost positive it will show up as legit (unless you screw it up very badly).

But we're not supposed to discuss cheating.
