I have Channel, why do you ask? Knowing your history of posts, I'm guessing you want to know something about Jirachi?

Yes Sir!. I have often Experienced In the GTS that about 90% of the Jirachi's I received are Often Hacked, Either Caught In Masterballs or Met In Sinnoh Routes..Or Kanto..And there are more Legit Celebi's in the GTS rather than hacked ones IMO, And People say that jap. Colosseum Bonus discs are Insanely hard to get nowadays..But there are Lots of UT 31121 Celebi's I received That came from the GTS.. I got lucky to get A channel Jirachi.. only... with a Level 100 and a Serious nature..MY ONLY Channel Jirachi..

and oh, Do you know where to find the coin case In D/P? I forgot..

does anybody know a member that will hack check pokes for me ?
Hack checking has become almost impossible now, because hackers now have ways to cover up almost anything:(

My question: There's a time on the bottom of your screen, is that the same for everyone or does it change for every time zone? Does it take into account the place where you are at the moment or something else?

Thanks

thats dissapointing to know, my time zone is GMT and the time is right, i think the clock is different for everybody

die eter, you can go to your user CP, click Edit Options, and change your Time Zone under the Date and Time options.

Actually, that has changed now.

REMINDER:

Testing ends in 10 days on November 29th. The guidance for voting requirements has been altered to a rating of 1655 and a deviation of 65. All voters who attain that level are guaranteed the right to vote regardless of how many people reach that level.

We are shooting for a total voter pool of 75-100 individuals. If not that many people attain the 1655/65 threshold, we reserve the right to relax the guidelines until we reach the desired population of voters.

As with previous suspect tests, I will accept applications for special permission after 11/29 if you have extenuating circumstances. Very, very few of these are granted, so don't bank on it.

If you have questions for me, PM or IRC is the best method for contacting me.

Let x be your maximum rating.
Let y be your minimum rating.

In order to vote, the following conditions must be met:

(x - y) / 2 < 65

(x + y) / 2 > 1655

k so 1754 and 1625

(1754-1625)/2
=64.5 Yes

(1754+1625)/2
=1689.5 YES!!

So I can vote later? And does it count if the rating is on one of my alts?
And when do we get to vote??

If you keep playing and don't end up sucking, then yes.

And does it count if the rating is on one of my alts?

Yes. Just make sure you identify yourself when the eligible accounts are posted.

And when do we get to vote??

Testing ends on the 29th. The vote should likely start a few days afterwards.

The damage is based on the Special Attack and Special Defense at the time of using Future Sight, not at the time of striking.

Whose Special Attack and Special Defense? My pokemon or the opponent's?

Also, if Future Sight's damage varies, I'm confused why the power is 80.

One more thing. Which pokemon would be a great candidate to use Future Sight with?

I have a Careful Uxie that is Ev trained but I'm not sure if Future Sight is going to be that useful for Uxie.

The Special Attack of the Future Sight user and the Special Defense of the defending pokémon during the time of Future Sight's selection (not when it hits). Therefore, if the defending pokémon switches between the time of selecting Future Sight and the time it strikes, the damage Future Sight inflicts would be calculated by using the previous pokémon's Special Defense stat as opposed to the current one's.

The 80 Base Power is still important because it is part of the damage calculation. It is not random like Psywave is.

At least, this is how I interpreted it.

If standard means OU, even with Scarf, it only reaches some 343 speed, which is not of any real use since a lot of OU pokemons are above this or manage a DD before you switch in. And since Scarfers are supposed to be Revenge Killers, Scarf-Glaceon can't revenge kill effectively. So i guess Specs could work better with good prediction.

On shoddy, is Sleep Talk + Outrage fixed yet so that you don't get locked in/confused?

It is fixed on the smogon server. However, there are some weird interactions with sleep talk and outrage that still aren't fixed (I don't remember what they were; they may have been in a research or platinum analysis thread somewhere. Whatever they were, they seemed rather unlikely to occur).

Is Vaporeon better off putting those "extra" 68 EVs it now has into HP or special defense for those hard hitters?

Depends on what you want it to do. I personally like 252/252 bold, but if you want better special defense, go ahead and put the EVs there. It really depends on whether you plan on switching your vaporeon into grass knot and thunderbolt with any frequency; I tend to find that I'm switching into resisted special attacks most of the time.

One more thing. Which pokemon would be a great candidate to use Future Sight with?

Honestly? Don't use Future Sight. It has lower base power than psychic by 10, doesn't have the chance at lowering special defense, doesn't get STAB, and the mechanics of it are more likely to work against you than for you in my opinion. The damage happens at the end of the turn, so even if it kills the opponent they still get an attack off on you. There is the possibility that it is an entirely wasted turn if you would have killed the opponent anyway; the opponent can also just switch in some death fodder if necessary (and then the turn was kind of wasted). The only way I see it possibly being a good move is:

Opponent switches in Heracross!
Celebi used future sight!

Celebi used stealth rock!
Heracross used Megahorn! Celebi fainted!

Gyarados switches in!
Gyarados used dragon dance!
Opponent switches in Jolteon!

Jolteon used thunderbolt! Gyarados has wacan berry!
Gyarados used dragon dance!
Jolteon is hit with future sight! Jolteon fainted!

Maybe you could use it like that to set up a sweeper...but if you are a good enough battler to set up that situation, you are a good enough battler to win no matter what tactic you use...

I think flash fire boosts the damage of all fire moves 1.5 times. This is a little different from actually boosting special attack (read the damage formula article if you're interested). But yes, it works for both special and physical attacks if that's what you're asking.

If your opponent switches while you baton pass, you get to see what they switch in before you have to make your decision. This means that you can switch to your best counter, creating an advantageous match up.

Baton pass acts after the opponents switched in so you know who to switch to, whereas switching is prediction.
Thanks for this.

You misunderstood me. My question is :

Dusknoir used wow(will o wisp).
Heatran came in and got flash fired. So Fire move = 1.5 times power, alright.

Dusknoir wow'd again for some reason.

Now what happens? Do i get 1.5 more boost or is it applicable only once?
